A tasty midweek treat. The festive menu isn't the most imaginative but it's tasty. I started with the king prawn cocktail there were surprisingly a good amount of prawns and the combination of the 2 sauces was interesting in a good way and the 3 crispy fried prawns had a nice kick to them and created a crunch to the dish. Unfortunately it was meant to come with brown bread and shredded iceberg lettuce. Mines arrived with 3 leaves of baby gem and toasted white bread. But I don't think the changes distracted from the dish. My husband had had the brie wedges with sliced pears on a bed of rocket with spiked maple and cranberry dressing. 2 small wedges of crumb coated brie was presented on a bed of salad leaves with half a tinned pear sliced into 4. There was a smearage of the cranberry sauce under the leaves as well as a pot on the side. It was very tasty and all the flavours worked well together but would have benefited from the pepper of rocket salad leaves. We both had the full rack of ribs with the spiked maple and cranberry glaze. Sorry neither felt this worked with the ribs. It was to sweet and didn't have the smokiness of the maple nor the tang of the cranberry. The ribs themselves were tender and meaty as always. The fries were meant to have sage and onion seasoning but I was pleased to see that they had forgotten to add it. The grilled pineapple only added more sweetness to the dish add in a sweetcorn cobette and there's a sweet overload. Individually without the sauce were extremely tasty but as a dish it was an overload. The service was faultless I think it was Brian his name was what ever his name was is an attentive experienced server. Atmosphere was upbeat with the Christmas music in the back ground. Definitely worth a visit

We went last night for a family reunion and it was lovely. Very friendly staff, attentive but not in your face all the time. I'm vegetarian and the choice was really good, which is unusual. Can recommend.

We booked today last minute for 7 of us and when we arrived were attended to quickly. The waitress was lovely and also patient with the younger ones choosing their food.
Salad bar and unlimited soda refills went down very well.
All enjoyed our meals, lovely and tasty and served quickly. Decent price too and very central location.

Nice restaurant serves beautiful food at affordable prices, staff are friendly and accommodating to your needs, you can have a Scottish breakfast or full English. You can explore a a lots of Scotland from this location if you have a car and willing to travel. Perth known as the heart of Scotland is thee place to base yourself. Later come back to the restaurant and have a nice meal, wonderful food. I stayed in the hotel adjacent, wonderful stay, highly recommended.

Staff very friendly. We had a server by the name of David, he entertained us with his witty charm and hilarious one liners as the light danced off his glorious goatee in the yellow evening sun. Cracking food. Thanks guys your a excellent team!

The service is excellent, sometimes maybe even a little too attentive though during the quieter times of the day. The food in each and every course is second to none. Generous portions and all cooked to perfection. Even the complimentary salad bar has an excellent choice and is kept freshly stocked.
As if the meal and service weren't enough, the price is just another bonus too. If you've never tried it yet you really should. That said, it can often be quite difficult to get the attention of staff when you're ready to order another course or drinks. The manager/supervisor who was working when I last visited was a disgrace. Shouting abuse at a member of the waiting staff in full view of customers for something being overlooked. Abusive scumbag!

Went for an evening meal of steak, really well cooked and presented. Staff friendly and attentive and beer fine. The next morning tried the unlimited breakfast, what a surprise it was again well cooked and plenty there, the plate of "fry-up" was massive. Recommended.
