A traditional Georgian style building dating back to 1851 with an enviable position in the centre of Thornhill. The hotel has 15 bedrooms, comfortable lounge, lounge bar, restaurant, private dining room and function room. There are 5 feature fireplaces throughout the public areas adding to the comfort and luxury of the hotel.

We visited and sang to the residents at Briery Park & Burnfoot Care Home. It was so lovely listening to everyone singing along. I'm sure they had been practicing before we arrived as it was like having our own personal choir. Thank you to the staff who were so welcoming. On Saturday the 10th of August, the festivities continue at the Buccleuch and Queensberry Arms Hotel when 11 local young musicians take to the platform to perform as part of the 2019 Absolute Classics Festival. This concert will celebrate the diverse musical talent that our region has to offer.
