Went for something to eat on the spur of the moment. We were so impressed, food was absolutely gorgeous. Cooked fresh & large portions, really good value for money. Staff were all lovely too. Would definitely recommend. We shall return!
We have eaten here twice this week whilst we have no kitchen as we are renovating a house and what great meals we have had.
My partner has had the mixed grill twice, both times cooked to perfection and super yummy.
I had the steak and ale pie first which is full of meat and a really yummy gravy, then last night the lemon Cajun chicken which was equally delicious!
My farther in law had steak and ale pie first again raves about how yummy it was, then last night he had the lamb dish and he said it was to die for!
Atmosphere is like Home from home, very warm and welcoming! We will be regulars for sure.
Thanks to the lovely waitress who managed to get us a dinner yesterday (Sunday)......the four of us were starving!....dinner was gorgeous, service was great.....highly recommended....the roast beef was cooked to perfection!......mmmm
My wife and I went out on the spur of the moment and thought we would go to the Bull. We have been a couple of times before and had good Sunday lunches there. I fancied something with a bit of a kick, so had the Jalfrezi and I thought it was the best one I had had outside of a proper Indian restaurant, poppadum very crispy (I've had some that you could make origami birds with, without snapping. My wife had a beef pie absolutely stuffed with lovely tender beefy chunks. Great Value too at under twenty quid for the two of us.
