The Bungalow Description
The Bungalow is an independent and ethical live music venue nestled within the heart of Paisley Town Centre (Central Scotland). We are well known for our relaxed atmosphere and laid back attitudes, not to mention having the friendliest team of staff (we feel) on the planet!
The Bungalow legacy began in the late seventies on Renfrew Road (the original premises) with artists such as; The Fall, The Skids, The Tourists, Orange juice, Roddy Frame, Alan McGee, The Buzzcocks, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Alarm, The Jam, The Teardrop Explodes, The Clash and many many more rolled through the doors to perform to a packed Paisley crowd every night! To the disappointment of many The Bungalow closed its doors in the early eighties.
In 2008, The Bungalow revival was born opening up in its current residency of Shuttle Street with a mission to bring the upcoming and the legends into Paisley as the music home of Danny Kyle, Jerry Rafferty, Paolo Nutini, Jukebox and many more with the likes of The Rezillos, The Quireboys, Kyle Falconer, Frightened Rabbit and The Blockheads already making their way back through our doors and inspiring up and coming bands to fulfil their music talents and dreams (We have a big dream here and everyone is part of that).
We do not support any form of Pay to Play or unethical practises within our venue, we aim for; artists, customers and staff alike to be treated with an equal degree of respect and such a practise is unwelcome here. We always aim for gig tickets to be as cheap as possible however, you will probably find most of our events are free! Please come down and support live music within our independent and ethical venue.
Please note that we are an 18 + venue. Appropriate ID must be presented when asked for.
16-17 year olds may attend shows however, this requires a responsible adult over the age of 21 years old to attend with them.

I dunno why I've never rated this place in the past...Coffins years ago..more recently Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5. Last night was amazing. Came down to watch Medicine Men/ Neon Waltz whom I love. Was blown away with the first act Five Cousins. Thank you ! xx
Had a great night watching the mighty Maiden Scotland, first time in the Bungalow and the vibe was great. Good drink prices and a friendly atmosphere, nice to see Paisley getting a venue like this. I will be back in when there isnt a gig on to see if its just as good then :-)
Great venue to play at. All the staff were extremely welcoming, accommodating and professional and we got great feedback about our sound, made possible by the knowledgeable engineers here. Thanks hopefully be back soon.
Great night last night seeing The Vapurs at The Bungalow. Lovely crowd, staff couldn't have been any more helpful and friendly. Thanks Boab for getting me a seat and even Milly my Assistance Dog was just settling in nicely when it was all over and time to go home. Could'be stayed there forever. We'll certainly be back.......that's a threat and a promise!
Great night last night at The Bungalow Bar ...All the bands were fab ...Vapors turning Japanese was brill ... made some new friends and bumped into some old ones ..at one point it was like a drummers convention hahahaha ..big thanks to all staff at Bungalow and was nice to meet Allan and of course Kevin ...All in all a great wee night ...cheers Jackie Mills for invite x
Great night at the sex pissed dolls. Had an amazing night with friends but also got to say every member of staff was so friendly. The security staff, the bar staff and door staff all incredible which made such a difference. See you again soon!

Fantastic night at the Bungalow in Paisley on Saturday. noasis were in top form and the place was absolutely bouncing. Was really looking forward to this gig and it didn't disappoint. Didn't want it to end. Atmosphere was brilliant with crowd totally up for it as expected. Classic songs kept alive by an outstanding band. The staff at the Bungalow were friendly and accommodating, bar prices were not off the scale either which is always a plus point. Happy to give it the big thumbs up. Look forward to my next visit. ���

Absolutely brilliant at The Smyths. I saw the Smiths back in the day at a similar venue so the nostalgia factor was amazing. The closest sadly that we will get to the real thing. Venue was great too and the DJ was top notch.
A great venue to play at. As part of the tribute @[41264874811:Complete Madness (the nutty boys)], i found the staff to be very professional, friendly, and highly organised. Acts are looked after and respected, not characteristics of some other venues. Hope to return soon!

Great wee pub and excellent for live music. great drink prices and attentive barstaff only let down was plastic glasses a big NO NO. but i will be back next time i,m in Paisley
Absolute disgrace 3 servers behind bar for a sell out Dirty Harry gig! Waited 40 minutes to get a beer and bottle of water!! Left at interval as sound in such a strange place was shocking!! Saw this band in Oran mor and thoroughly enjoyed but certainly not the same experience st the bungalow!! Will never go back however thanks for asking for review 😳
