Everyone here at the bungo would like to thank you all for your support throughout 2018. We have had a cracking year of excitement, events and espressotinis and it's all down to our lovely punters. We look forward to seeing you all (and your dogs) next year! Cheers 🥂

We've had a lot on interest in what we'll be serving for our special hogmanay menu this year, so we thought we'd let you all have a wee gander! There's still have some spaces left but booking is essential so get in touch to avoid disappointment!

We had lunch there yesterday... we are travelling with our dog and only eat at dog friendly restaurants... on arrival they welcomed us and our dog and gave him a bowl of water... the food was delicious... we shared the chicken skewers and my husband had the prawn tacos and I had the angus beef burger with onion rings and coleslaw... perfectly cooked and very generous portions... we really wanted to try a dessert but we were so full we couldn't fit it in... the service was amazing... the staff were attentive and happy to give recommendations... we were very happy we found it and would recommend it happily...

Was there just last night for a 5 course and matching wine night and it was just awesome!

Many thanks to all involved in making the night a great one and can’t wait to see what we have in store for 2018-what a treat in the lead up to Xmas! �

This is myself and my boyfriends local and we are here all the time! Tonight we were sat next to a large family with a few babies/toddlers. The family were brilliant and took their kids out when the got restless and their toddler provides excellent entertainment! Upon leaving the couple told us they had paid for our last round of drinks due to being next to lots of kids! Absolutely lovely family and so courteous! Hope the read this!!!

Such a delicious lunch! The halloumi tacos in particular were so good they caused my waters to break and sent me into labour. 24 hrs later my beautiful daughter was born. Thanks Bungo, you gave me more than I could ever have dreamed of from a lunch!

Stumble across this wee gem of a restraunt..me my wife and wee dog one afternoon had homemade hummus was lovely and dog got wee bowl of water great..

Staff very attentive..

So delighted with my gluten free tea tonight. I only found out a week ago that I had to go gluten free and I was worried about eating out. But it was lovely and we had loads of choices. The staff were great too x

Opted for the Bungo breakfast, was excellent - egg was perfectly cooked so the yolk was nice and runny and bacon was crispy just the way I like it :) Will need to go back and try some of the other menu options sometime :)

Myself and a group of friends had dinner here last night. The food was delicious and great value for money. The service was excellent and the manager Mark was very helpful. Our table was a bit small for the 6 of us and he went out of his way to accommodate us. Will definitely be back x

I have been coming here for few years and have never been let down by the food or cocktails..the biggest compliment i can give this place is the level of service as all the staff are always happy to help and that's why we keep coming back ..keep the good work up guys

Had food there prior to attending a Southside Fringe event in their function suite. Food was great and the staff provided great service and were very friendly. The function suite is a great venue but due to being down stairs isn't necessarily suitable for those with mobility issues.

Had a lovely spot of lunch here yesterday. Amazing super salad - left me feeling very healthy and yet full to the brim Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Great food, excellent service, staff all very friendly and helpful. Had the chickpea and veggie haggis burger with rosmary chips.👌😜 varied selection on menu and very readonable prices.👍😀

Called In for brunch yesterday; five hungry people that weren’t disappointed, we all had different sides, I took the scrambled eggs with salmon, my partner took the battered haddock & Chips; everybody enjoyed the food, the cocktails & the service was second to none. Thanks for everything guys!

Afternoon delight out! My self a head chef and friend a front of house manager we love to wind down on our day off and of course food always plays a big part on our day off...

Today we found a hidden treasure a very modern litttle get away that has a very unusual menu and a very impressive gantry lots of spirts and great selection of beers on draught we had a great meal seved to us by jules who was on point with imformation payimg great care to every little detail

Food and drinks where faultless only think i have anything to say about was the brownie desert was slightly over cooked but was still very tasty ...



Cherry on the cake was that we were able to bring the dog with us who was treated like royality with a bowl of water and a doggie treat



Highly recomended ...

...the vegan menu here is decent, worth trying and will certainly revisit again, food is delicious... :P

Went for lunch Service wasn't great. Asked for recommendations and was brashly told by waitress she couldn't advise as it was a "new" menu. I Ordered 2 items, only got given one, had to re-request the second. Friends food was cold and undercooked.
