So wonderful to have eaten tonight at Fhior in Edinburgh. Finally made it having been meaning to for ages because it is run by the wonderful Scott and Laura Smith who were married at Inchyra. Scott was the chef behind last year's Edinburgh Restaurant of the Year Norn and Fhior is the couple's first independent venture. On the basis of the utterly delicious and incredibly clever food we were lucky enough to experience tonight they are well on their way to very big things. Jerusalem artichoke in our pudding was surprising and exquisite. If you can get there do - it's an amazing culinary experience. @fhiorrestaurant #finedining #thebyreatinchyra

Hello! We don't usually ask favours from you all but for some reason the listing for the Byre on hitched.co.uk lapsed and so we've just joined again. It's the UK biggest wedding listing site and we're very pleased to be part of it.

Hosting weddings is not only a pleasure but a very great honour. We never forget that our couples choose us for probably the biggest day of their lives - and that's some level of trust.
