The Cake O'Clock Tea Shop

Why not treat your Mother The Cake O'clock Tea Shop this coming Mother's Day on March 31st. Will be doing Afternoon tea's as well as the day to day produce at the shop! Bookings taken!

Today a rich Chocolate and Banana Cake. Very nice!

For today a Gluten Free Lemon and thyme polenta cake!

Its that time again, so we at The Cake O'clock Tea Shop are going to be hosting our cupcake makng events for children again this coming half term in February. We will be doing classes on Tuesday 19th and Thursday 21st.
The events will run from 2pm sharp and will last between 1.5 - 2 hours long. It will cost £15.85 per child.... Maximum of 12 children per session.
The event will be planned out like this.
When the child arrives they will clean their hands and put on there apron. Next they will make the cake batter and fill the cupcake cases. While baking they will decorate their boxes to take their cakes away in. After they will have a light lunch. Once lunch is finished you're child/children will box their cakes and the event will end. Parents must remain in the shop and not leave there child. Due to the size of the shop, please just one adult per child. If interested, this will be a first come first served basis. Well, just have had the new Google 360 start on the Google page/search bar. Can now look around the shop without even being there.

We visited today for the Cup Cake Bake and what a wonderful time we all had! My son and his cousin had such fun making their cakes from scratch, followed by lunch then decorating the cakes.

Us mums enjoyed the lovely coffee and toasties and also joining in with the kids.

Can't wait to come again xxx

Took my friend here after a base jump session with our kids. We all had a lovley lunch, lots to choose from paninis, baguettes, jacket pots etc etc..and the most amazing cakes to die for...the rocky road was chocolate heaven..

It was sooooooooo good!! You really need yo go here to see for yourself...yummy x

Stopped at the shop this morning for some cake with my little girl. I had the strawberry and chocolate cake (smothered in lashings of homemade marshmallow �) and my daughter had the chocolate orange cupcake and French macaron (because why have one cake when you can have two?!) We didn't leave a single crumb, all absolutely delicious! Could not recommend highly enough ��

On Saturday 1st of July we had my mother's surprise birthday party fully catered for by The Cake O'clock Tea shop and had an excellent time! The sandwiches were great and the cakes even better, with non-stop tea and coffee to wash it all down! I'd fully recommend The Cake O'clock Tea shop for gatherings as well as just to pop in for a coffee and a cake! Thanks again to The Cake O'clock Tea shop!

My other half had a birthday cake made for me from the Cake o’clock shop for my 50th birthday party.

It was an amazing carrot and orange cake. It was moist and light and everyone at the party commented on it.It was baked fresh the morning of the party and tasted just as fresh 2 days later. Thank you very much.

My nieces and nephews took part in the cupcake making class and thoroughly enjoyed it. The session is fantastic value for money and they had lunch included - all made to order, would highly recommend! Ron and his team are amazing! Xxx

My little girl went to the cake making class she absolutely loved it all the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the cake and shake I had was amazing will definitely be coming back well done guys xxxxxx

I really liked this place. Had afternoon tea for my sisters birthday. It was very nice and it wasn't just your standard afternoon tea. Had the usual sandwiches and cakes but chocolate dipped strawberries added a nice touch and having another option with the savoury was nice (quiche). Tea was unlimited which isn't always a given. Staff were lovely and service was good. Nicely made food. We weren't rushed at all and taking away what we hadn't eaten was not a problem. Highly recommend. Reasonably priced also.

I booked my daughter in for the new summer holiday biscuit making class today and it was brilliant- amazing value for money- staff so welcoming and friendly and really well organised- my daughter got to roll out and cut her own cookies. While they were being baked she decorated her cookie box with a great selection of pens, stampers, stickers etc which she loved. Then a lovely lunch was included followed by decorating her own cookies (with the best real chocolate icing ever) and a million decorations. Only 8 in the group which was a lovely number. Definitely a great start and I'm sure we will back for another one soon x highly recommend x x

Fantastic tea Room, great value for money and lovely tasting food. If you can’t eat gluten as I can’t then you must must visit there is fab gf cake and if you want a full English they do gf sausages, bread. 👍😊😋

Can highly recommend The Cake o’clock tea room in Eastwood where we held our friends baby shower. They supplied tea, coffee, sandwiches, a whole range of cakes with gluten free options too and cup cakes for the guests to take home. We were able to take our own alcohol and decorations while the tea room was closed to the general public. Superb value for money and really fantastic service x

Brilliant afternoon at The Cake O'clock Tea Shop where the girls and their friends were making and decorating cupcakes and the boxes to take them home in. Plus while they were baking a cooling a little spot of lunch is also included in the price - perfect. Hannah looked after us today and she and the other members of staff were so lovely. 'AMAZING !!' according to my girls - will definitely go again.

Amazing dairy free pineapple upside-down cake today. Warm out the oven too and lovely crispy edges! Just how my Nan used to make. Simply delicious! �

Amazing crumble cake served warm with custard and a lovely latte to go with it. Visited with friends and loved the tea shop, cannot wait to come back for some lunch with cake of course!

Absolutely blown away by the service and quality of a 'takeaway' afternoon tea today for a bride to be. Presented in labelled boxes, especially as one was for a vegan. Would highly recommend and the scones were still hot! Absolute perfection. Thank you so, so much.

60th birthday celebration for my wife with family and a very practical solution, living in Devon as we do. Everything we asked for and more exclusively catered for and cooked on the premises by the owner, an exceptional pastry chef. Thanks Ron and staff for making it a happy and successful surprise for Julie. We will be back and will happily recommend you to friends and family.
