The Chip Shop

Food was nice and a fair price. The girl behind the counter using her fingers to pick up the fish and sausages and place them on the chips, not so nice. The utensils were there, she just opted not to use them for some reason.

Fish and chips - you will not be dissapointed

Food is okay but very very greasy. Reasonable prices and decent cardboard containers for takeaway, rather than flimsy polystyrene.

A chip shop. Opposite a Chinese restaurant. Owned by a Chinese. And they don't really like each other. But maybe why they're both so good... In fact I reckon they're as good chips as anywhere. Fish is pretty good too. And their macaroni. Can't get that everyday though. Say hi to the owner, King. Yup. Really. King of chips in Dalbeattie. You'll be thinking I do nothing but eat out. Not true. When I do I'm choosy. So if I review you know it's kosher. Not that you can have kosher chips. Can you?

Great food, great staff. Friendly and efficient. Was staying in the area for a week and twelve of us ate from here twice in that week. My nephew had the King Rib and says it was the best he had ever had.

Great chips. Delicious macaroni cheese at weekends. A good value meal and friendly staff.

Great chippy. Tasty food and reasonable prices. Will use again.
