The Clachan Inn

I've had the pleasure of eating in The Clachan on a couple of occasions recently whilst visiting family that lives nearby and each time I've found the food to be fantastic - the chips are also quite possibly the greatest ever fried!

Top quality pub-restaurant with very resonable prices (sub £15 mains). They offered a couple of vegan options and a few more vegetarian ones, which isn't common for the area! Interesting selection of local ales and great service.

Great cosy pub with friendly staff. Had the best fish and chips I've had in years. Would highly recommend.

location was a lovely little village well out the way but worth a visit. service was impeccable food was 10/10 with locally sourced, incredibly cooked food and a wide varied menu to match. £££ but worth it.

Went here for a quick lunch as we were at a nearby event. A good pub with a traditional vibe. A really impressive menu, wish we'd had time to enjoy the main menu! We all had an excellent lunch served with the finesse of a much fancier place. Great, friendly service. We'd been in the area for a week and this was the best dining experience. Highly recommended.

Excellent pub, with a great atmosphere and a roaring real fire. Must try the food next time!
