The Couthy Corner

This a wonderful place to have a ceam tea. The proprietor was very friendly helpful and professional. I brought a visiting friend here and we both really enjoyed our time here.

There are tables set in the main hall, outside on the flag stones and also inside in the tower closest to the oldest bowling green in Scotland.

From the outside Cowane's Hospital appears in a poor state of repair, however on entering the main building you are surprised to find wood paneling, fine oak chairs and a seating gallery. There are information boards and other interesting informative boards telling the story of the hospital. Within the main hall there are set tables and persons enjoying a meal in this august hall.
