Ok...so normal service is resuming. We finally know what day it is...and it's #WeddingWednesday of course! Delighted to bring you the beautiful wedding of Charlotte and Calum. What a way to add some magic and sparkle to January. It was a beautiful rustic affair and so much fun was had by all.

We had a very special Hogmanay at The Cow Shed - the wedding of Emma and Lewis. They transformed the space with some beautiful DIY details and stacks of lush winter greens. It was a very good way to end 2018 and see in 2019.

Wonderful venue with plenty space and different areas to congregate in. Beautifully set up for the bride and grooms personal additions to the decor. Friendly and helpful staff able to sort out last minute changes due to inclement weather! Recommend to anyone.

Where to start. Jo, Mike and Gill you guys are amazing. You helped and supported us in making our special day the perfect day for us. Thank you for your flexibility, your enthusiasm and your genuine care. A blank canvas is the very best place to start when organising a day that is truly personal and bespoke, The Cow Shed provided us with just that, as well as a stunning backdrop and exclusive setting. We had such an amazing journey from arriving on Friday to set up with all our friends and family, to leaving on Monday. The cottages on site allowed everyone to share in that journey with us making this not just a special day but an entire weekend of celebration. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. ❤ The Gibsons #anygibsonsunday Special thanks also to Red Pepper Events for tables, chairs and beautiful ivory linen; Virginias Vintage Hire Scotland, Nicky was an absolute pleasure to work with; The Green Cockatoo, not just for the stunning glass and flatware which EVERYONE commented on, but also for the team of students who delivered the event, it ran like clockwork! The Spotted Pig for THE best Hog Roast, pretty sure everyone had seconds.. and that crackling, yuuuum. Steve Page Lighting for creating the ambiance with just the right amount of fairy lights, Sandy Brechin and the Jimmy Shand experience for the Ceilidh - getting us all on the dance floor, literally! (Sorry about the amateurs �) Davie Miller and Jade Noble for keeping us on the dance floor with THE Best Tunes -could have danced all night! Stems our florist, bringing our vision to life - we loved our 'mini herb garden' centrepieces; Bear Hug events for our #hashtag, special lighting and just being amazeballs and The Cake from Bev at Cake Star!!! We loved our Naked Cake with a Rosemary and Lemon flavour base which complimented the amazing food provided by Martin Wishart and his expert team together with superb personalised cocktails from Gav, Dan and TJ from Bar in a Box � All in all our wedding was The Bomb. ✋ thanks to each and everyone who supported. All was captured, with love, by Abigail and Eye Photography and bought together by my best friend, Anna Wilson @ Naked Events. �

When we first started looking for venues we had no idea what we were wanting, but the second we arrived at the Cow Shed we were sold! Jo was fantastic in the lead up to the wedding, answering all our questions and advising on suppliers. For the weekend we had Lauren as our contact. We were her first solo wedding and she was fantastic. She helped answer our questions, explained everything we needed to know and helped ensure everything was perfect on the day. The Cow Shed was the perfect venue for us and we couldn't have asked for more! Beautiful setting, stunning venue, huge dance floor!

What a wonderful day in a very special venue. Our wedding was just the most fantastic occasion, we loved every single second! Thank you Lemonbox Studios for making the Cow Shed look even more amazing! Jo and Gillian, thank you for all your help - we had the most very special day!

Well, where do I start… from keeping us updated with seemingly never ending additions to their services to last minute shuffles and accommodating changes of plans very last minute. Gill, Jo, Gillian & Mike, you have all been wonderful. You have such an amazing space there and in such a beautiful location!

Thank you for everything and all the best for the years to come. We might make it back for our first big anniversary as I have no doubt you will still be going strong!!

Well I really don't know where to start! Jo,Jill and Mike thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything, Me and Andy have memories to last a life time and we wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else on our special day. Our guests were truly amazed by your venue and how it really did suit us as a couple. Will be back in about ten years to persuade andy to renew our vows haha! We're just home from my sister in law's wedding at The Cow Shed and it was simply stunning. What a superb venue and everyone involved were so helpful and friendly. The weather was very kind to us and everything and everyone looked beautiful. We stayed on site in one of the cottages, and they were perfect. Every little detail had been though of. Just wonderful! <3

We only saw one place in our search of our wedding venue: the Crail Cow Shed! We both loved the look of the venue from online and the place was even better in reality. Deceptively large, it catered for our big wedding with lots of space to make your own. We ended up having our wedding in the snow and the whole venue was really toasty and warm so don’t be worried about winter in a barn. Jo, Gill and Mike pulled out all the stops to make sure our wedding ran smoothly and went over and above a traditional venue I’m sure would do. A great place for wedding, birthday, ball or whatever you can think to use it for. Highly recommended!

We could not be happier with our decision to have our wedding at the Cow Shed. The whole team were incredibly helpful and accommodating and helped us with any questions we had on the lead up to the day. The venue is fantastic and incredibly versatile and is a great opportunity to create a wedding perfect for you. The team were also very helpful with meeting suppliers on site and helping us in running the day effectively by always having someone available on the day. We would definitely suggest the Cow Shed as a venue! Fantastic service!

The venue itself is really incredible and because the sun was shining down on us it really was the most perfect setting. I wish we could do it all over again!!

Such a gorgeous venue, wonderful rustic charm and the marquee roof on the original stone walls lets in so much light making it a much brighter space than your average barn venue, combining the best of both. Brilliant outdoor spaces too, if you get lucky with the Scottish weather. Beautiful views and just a stones throw away from the idyllic Crail Harbour which is a fabulous backdrop for photos. And most importantly such lovely people, an absolute pleasure to deal with x

Just back from an incredible weekend wedding celebration at the Cow Shed . It is such a fantastic venue even if it rains ... which it did ! The layout is perfect for the ceremony .socialising, eating and dancing . It was simply adorable . Well done Cow Shed team for creating this amazing venue �

I visited the Cow Shed for the first time this weekend to photograph a wedding and absolutely loved it. It's such a great space, brilliantly decorated by the couple. It's a bit of a dream venue to photograph, so many great spots, and brilliant staff. Thanks for having me, and hopefully I'll be back soon!

Hi Cowshed team - we just wanted to add a short (belated!) review on your FB page. Wow, where to start - we had the most magical day at the Cowshed to celebrate our wedding in May 2018 and we can't thank the whole Cowshed team enough. You guys were absolutely brilliant with us from day one and thank you all so much for all your help and support.



Thank you to Jo and Jill for all your help and guidance, which was invaluable - from answering all questions via email/phone, during Open Days, supplier recommendations and then lots of help with the run through and information packs as well. Thank you Gillian for looking after us on the wedding weekend - you were a complete star!



The cottages nearby are lovely and so handy for the wedding party as well. We had a blast and loved every minute of our wedding. The venue was perfect for us and all of our guests were talking about how amazing The Cow Shed is - we completely agree!! Thank you again for making our wedding day so special.

A perfect venue for a great party or wedding!!

Flexible enough to make your own, but help and advice on hand if you need it. Just like I did the day before the wedding! Thank you again Gill for coming to my rescue with the printing fiasco!! Its in a fantastic location, with a winning team. From the beginning I identified with their no fuss approach and clear terms. The whole process was very easy. Thank you again, Jo, Gill, Gillian and Lauren.

A huge thanks to Gill ,jo and the rest of the cow she team for their excellent help and advice in planning my birthday bash and for letting us use the beautiful cowshed barn and workshop.



Everything we wanted was catered for and no ask was even to much and for that I am hugely grateful. Was great to see the space dressed so well and being used by some locals too.



Can't fault the cow shed team one bit and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for somewhere different for a party or an event.
