We stayed there for 1 night at room 7. Very nice room, and exellent bed! The best bed ever at a hotell!😊. Lovely place and a very good view. The staff were very friendly😊

User

We had a wonderful 3 days here & were lucky to upgraded to a loch view room, free of charge, the staff were really friendly & the food good, we especially enjoyed our breakfasts - poached eggs done perfectly. This is a hidden away gem in superb scenery - we will be back, thanks x

User

We had a fantastic stay here, very friendly staff and the food was great the room very comfortable. The views were truly beautiful over the lock and what was lovely to see each morning was the red squirrel coming for its breakfast!

User

We arrived on Friday night to a full bar at 8.15pm there was the noise you would expect we booked in (phoned about running late) and ordered our chips which tasted amazing, we got shown to our room by the younger gentleman from the bar and asked if we needed help with bags we were in room 5 which we thought was beautiful inside and it was immaculate, Saturday morning we went for our breakfast and had beautiful views of the loch Ness the breakfast was freshly prepared and service was good, before heading out we asked a female member of staff the best way to the falls and went out exploring. We had a 3 course dinner at night which was fresh and tasted perfect (house curry & Cajun chicken). Sunday was pretty much the same and today as we had our last breakfast we got our last views of the loch and the lady at breakfast was happy and friendly over all our stay was amazing and we had a ball. Thank you!x

User

This is a lovely Inn, friendly atmosphere and bonus for us very dog friendly, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon here. We stayed into the evening and had our tea and the food was excellent, and will say especially the Raspberry and White Chocolate Cheese cake. Thank you to all staff at the Inn.

User

The perfect setting for a lunch if you're in the area. Tranquil location, stunning view, and a good selection of drinks. Seriously good chilli on the menu too!

User

Spent a brilliant couple of days in Foyers thanks to the amazing staff at The Craigdarroch who fed us, watered us, shared stories and made us laugh!

The food is tasty and great value for money.

You get a great view of the loch, the perfect place to stop for lunch after a long day kayaking or hiking.

A big thank you to Martin for providing haggis to a local BnB we were staying at so that we could have it for breakfast. Couldn’t ask for better hospitality! And to Martin, Morag and Graham for making our stay at Foyers a memorable one! Can’t wait to come back and see you all again soon :)

User

Home after a lovely stay at the craigdarroch inn myself and my partner loved this wee place staff really nice and friendly nothing a problem the inn is lovely and clean and the food was good and great atmosphere in the bar and the view was amazing to wake up to every morning so well done guys we will definately be back Annie and goggs from Dundee oh and they now do the best long vodkas on Loch Ness

User

Friendly welcome, prompt service, good choice of beer, tasty food and a fantastic view.Whats not to like.

User

First night older barman wasn't very forth coming with information but after that had a brill weekend food was very nice no complaints room was very nice and cleaned on a daly basis falls were amazing all in had a very nice weekend would definitely recommend this place.

User

Fabulous location. Friendly homely atmosphere with lots of good advice for finding our way around the local sites. Lovely and warm greeting at check in, through service of delicious, reasonably priced meals and drinks. Room with Lake view is not to be missed. Every home comfort. After long walks outdoors in the crisp fresh air it has been lovely to relax with a beer and an amazing view before tea. The village is charming with a handy shop and cafe and Falls of Foyers on the doorstep. The Loch side down the hill has a campsite shop serving coffee/gifts and advice to get the most of our visit to the area. Can’t fault it 😀

User

Only stayed one night and got there late, but when I woke the next more to the beautiful view it was worth it. I wish I could have stayed longer.

User

Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. The Loch and surrounding countryside is beautiful.

User

The setting and views were amazing.

Shame the food was disappointing....

Never quite had soup that was meant to be minestrone with huge bits of brocolli, kidney beans and... well practically everything thrown in... and no taste just bland!!!

Shame as thought anyone could make soup.

This said it's in a great location...

User

Stumbled onto this place during a long walk with the children, a welcome pit stop just for the bathroom, a pint and four lemonade a this time, may come back for lunch in the summer, seems like a nice place for a pub lunch, we did not feel unwelcome even with our three very chatty kids.

User

Service was very slow .I had steak and they didn't give me a steak knife to cut it with so had to use a butter knife

User

We went for a drink and food. Staff were more bothered about locals. They didnt inform us they had a party of 10 coming in so we had to find somewhere else to sit. When the food came it wasnt as advertised and the pastry on the steak and ale pie was anaemic and the meat didnt taste like it was done in a slow cooker as it was advertised. The staff werent interested and the bar man looked like he had just finished work on a building site. Wont be going back there. Also its a AA 5 star. That needs looking into and trip advisor havnt updated since 2013. I think reviews are needed

User

Poor food chef can't cook steak even after sending it back. Grumpy twat at the bar no refund for food.

Do not go here. Have eaten better road kill.

And you get better service at McDonald's

Very disappointed.

Shame realy because a lovely location.

Needs new owners and a new chef.

Eastern European staffeta who live on site in a caravan probably getting paid less than minimum wage.

Take my advice stay well away!!!!
