About The Crescent Playgroup
The playgroup is open to all children between the ages of 2 and 5.
The main aim of the playgroup is to encourage the children to develop their social skills through play and sharing with others. They can participate in many activities such as painting, glueing, craft activities, sand /water, climbing frame /slide and dressing up.
There are also many books, jigsaws and activity games. Our Playleaders encourage free play - there is no formal teaching. There is ample opportunity to learn colours, numbers, weather, etc very simply.
New ideas from parents /carers are always welcome and participation is encouraged.
