The Depot is a purpose built professional Recording and Rehearsal Studio based in The Lighthouse Complex in the Granton area of Edinburgh.

- RECORDING -

Our Music Producers / Recording Engineers are Mark Morrow (mark@markmorrowaudio.com) and Craig Ross.

The studio is equipped with the very best in both analogue and digital recording based around a ProTools 10 /11, RME FireFace 800 and monitoring from PMC, Yamaha and Tannoy. With mic pre amps from SSL, API, CLM, RME and ever expanding outboard from DBX, Roland, TC Electronics and Joe Meek, the studio can cater for any genre and accomodate any size of band. The facility has a great selection of microphones from Neumann, Brauner, Shure, SE Electronics, AKG plus many more. Guitar amps from Orange, Fender, Vox, Marshall, Engl and Mesa Boogie. There is also a number of vintage synthesisers, keyboards, guitar effects and a grand piano.

The studio comprises of a large and comfortable control room, large live room, 2 isolation booths, band lounge and kichen /bathroom facilities.

- REHEARSALS -

Our facilities also include 4 fully equipped rehearsal rooms, a comfortable and friendly atmosphere and a well stocked tuck shop! (Can't forget the snacks! )

Opening times are as follows:
Sunday to Friday - 12: 00pm to 12: 00am
Saturday - 12: 00pm to 6: 00pm

We have some great rates available for rehearsals during both peak and off peak times!

Monday to Friday 12: 00pm till 6: 00pm is £8 per hour
Monday to Friday 6: 00pm to 12: 00am is £10 Per Hour

Weekend Flat Rate is £10 per hour

Students can take advantage of our student discount deal with Weekend rehearsals for students only £8 an hour!

With free 24 hour parking on site and bus routes 16, 24, 38, 47 stopping near by, the studio is easily accessible (around 10 mins from the city centre).
