Wonderful place, Christmas is especially magical here, the decorations are out of this world. It's very reasonable for such an amazing experience, so book in advance to guarantee a table if you are after a lunch. I can't recommend this place highly enough, it's like being on a film set, people walk in just to take photos it's so beautiful.

Wow! What an amazing place. Full of friendly people and completely accessible for my friend on a wheelchair. I will post some pictures at another date, but just spectacular and a lovely bottle of red wine for GBP 20! It was very packed though - which I loved.

The Dome is every time just more and more amazing! The food is delicious and the menu offers something for everyone. The Dome has majestic decorations all year around but during Christmas period they've added a little extra drop of magic with their enormous not-to-miss Christmas tree. Such an incredible environment to enjoy tasty food and wine.

It's just beautiful. I absolutely fell in love with the place and just couldn't keep my eyes off the gorgeous ceiling, it's so captivating. Very well mannered staff and overall it has a beautiful atmosphere. It's great for lunch or afternoon tea - with a touch of class, we enjoyed a nice lunch and must admit the meal was very nicely cooked. Would definitely go there again, next time for afternoon tea or dinner. If you're in the area you must visit, it's a gem.

Very tasty food. Amazing atmosphere. However, the food was missing a certain wow factor. Although great! No doubt about it, it was not the best meal in Edinburgh. Also have been, once or twice, served cold food at room temperature. Clearly been sitting, waiting to be served for far too long.

I would suggest the Sea Bass as a main. Can't beat it.

The Dome is... The Dome. Are you visiting Edinburgh for few days and would like to have cocktail in a place you won't find anywhere else? Then consider to drop at the Dome around 4 o'clock or so. No chance to find a table unless you book, so consider drop by at your first day and book a table in advance. I have also had a dinner and I would recommend it for romantic evenings - it is not on the cheap restaurants list, though, be aware.

Great for a treat. The Mrs liked it which is always good. Food very good, staff attentive and polite and the decor is wonderful. Highly recommended

Glorious protected Grade 1 listed building. Now a pub and restaurant, you can get a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits at a reasonable cost. Attentive friendly staff. Worth visiting even if you don't want a drink or a meal.

Yes, the place to take your friends from abroad to show off some grandeur of Edinburgh! I like the time around Christmas when they go all out and install the theme to the max. Decorated pillars outside? Check! Massive tree in the main bar / restaurant? Check! Good atmosphere, friendly waiting staff and free nuts or haggis balls?! Check, check and check! It is a good place to start of your evening on George street (if a little expensive) You will be well impressed.
