Stayed for dinner bed and breakfast with my husband. We had a lovely night room comfortable and food excellent.

We went here last week. The place wasn't that busy so we sat down and waited. There was dirty plates left on tables and overall the place looked unkept. After a while we went to look for service. When we approached a server another group just arrived, but instead of serving us after we had been waiting the server served them first. so we left. Not a very nice experience and certainly not very hospitable, A place to avoid rather than experience again

I visited the Drymen Inn a couple of times this week. I was just in for early evening beers. The Inn is located just off Drymen Square so it is conveniently located for guests staying at the local hotels. For those driving to Drymen, there is a car park just a few metres along the road. There are several distinct areas within the Drymen Inn. The main bar area has a mixture of settees and tables and chairs and is quite a cosy environment. The room to the right of the bar has a number of booths and seems to be the main eating area. To the front, there are conservatories either side of the entrance door.. perfect for watching the rain and the passing traffic! The bar is relatively small and is akwardly split by a large stone pillar. The main problem here is that some of the locals tend to gather at this bar and it can be difficult to get to. I am all for standing at the bar, or sitting on a stool at the bar, but only where space permits. There would appear to be lots of events at the Drymen Inn. There was a Calendar for October's events and there appeared to be a lot of events scheduled. Also there was no holding back on the budget for Halloween decorations.! One disappointing point I would say about the place is that last night they were putting plates with crisps out for some of the guests. If they do this for some guests, they should offer it to all guests. You should treat all people as well as the locals.!

Very cozy place for a dinner or lunch in Drymen.
The personnel is extremely nice and available (especially a girl who always smiles and makes you feel completely at home). We had a great bacon cheeseburger and a delicious chicken goujons!
Highly recommended

Great quality food (Grilled Venison Burger was amazing). Staff were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Would definitely go back again and it's less than an hour from Glasgow.

In a nice location with a nice sun-trap glass box at the front. Food is ok, though a little pricey for what you get, and the service was nice, though the table we had had not really been cleaned since the last guests were there. Ok for a family bite to eat or a quick beer.

Tasty food, very friendly helpful staff. Accommodation and restaurant good for couple with baby, although if you need a quiet room to sleep some rooms may not be for you as above pub.

Cozy rooms, and comfy beds, the inn was just what I needed after a long day of hiking! The complementary breakfast was amazing! Definitely get your money's worth here!
