Went for Gin afternoon tea, lovely selection of food and tea and very friendly staff, maybe left a bit too long to be asked if wanted a drink after our tea but all in all a great experience. Loved the decor and quality.....will be back

We had a tremendous short break here. Friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. Love to go back and will some day .

This has officially become my go-to for Edinburgh. It was easy to fall in love with the stylish interiors, and inspiring food/beverage menus, but what makes this establishment so entirely special is the incredible staff.

Stay here every year around the same time for the romantic Christmas markets. Always have an amazing time! The staff are genuinely friendly, share a laugh and can't do enough for you. The rooms are stunning, the. breakfast delicious. Yes perhaps a tad pricey if you stay a few nights but definitely worthwhile! Same time next year guys! Merry Christmas ��

My husband and I initially stayed at the Dunstane Houses for three nights and loved it so much that we had to return to finish out our stay in Edinburgh for an addition three nights! The staff was incredibly welcoming and bright, even after working lengthy hours. Each room we stayed in was adorable and we LOVED our copper tub. The food and drinks were lovely as well. Everything was absolutely perfect. Hands down, our favorite bed and breakfast of all time!

Lovely place with extremely attentive staff

Just came back from our honeymoon here. Lovely place to stay. We're so glad we chose this hotel. It's about 5 mins by bus from the old/new town city centre (about 20 mins walking).



Tameika helped us out a lot during our stay, which was perfect in itself.

The room was lovely, the bathroom just amazing, and the restaurant and bar are worth the experience!

I stayed here for one night and fell in love with the hotel. I managed to get a show round and was really impressed with the full refurbishment of all the rooms and public areas, even the loos are great!

The restaurant/bar/ lounge are all in one space making a relaxed and more informal dining area. Fantastic range of gins and whiskies.

Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, shows up a few of the bigger city hotels!

I had a whisky tasting the other night complete with some food at the bar, absolutely fantastic. I'm a local and never been in to Dunstane before. The place is stunning! Their General Manager Samantha took me for a tour and showed me some of the bedrooms too....I only live down the road, but I'm thinking of staying there :)

I felt really spoilt by the efforts this hotel makes. So in return I thought they deserved a special review.

Chilled out completely. Free parking and great location. Staff put us at ease immediately. Bottled craft beers and malt collection a bonus!

This hotel definately has the wow factor. Beautifully decorated and very cosy. Service has been exceptional. Two minor niggles, no lounge areas available until breakfast is finished, had my meeting in the breakfast room and no cappuccino offered in the 2nd building. The only reason I gave it a 4*. Aside from that I'll be back again.
