Getting back into the swing of it ;) Can you tell it's a Coppa Italia game tomorrow in Mesagne? :D

Awwww just speaking to the mum of one of my wee stitchin' in the kitchen buddies in Dundee ... remembering the bonnie things we made, the pasta we ate and the strawberry juice :) xx

Not a lot of sewing been going on these days - in the meantime, this is what I have been helping with instead ... painting poetry on the wall of the centro storico in Mesagne :) Loving life here, but do miss the mayhem of a sewing day at the kitchen table!! x

'pologies for lack of posts - no more stitchin' in the kitchen at Forfar Road since the Albertinies moved to Italy in September. All that has been stitched so far are some curtains and cushion covers - missing my mountains of ribbon and fabric but I have some in storage - and there are a couple of markets with fresh supplies - big phew! 😃

Some more sewing by the mums at the Parish Project - the sewing machines were used for the first time to make the bags :)

User

Not quite 101 of them - what a fab job the mums made today :)

More handiwork by the mums at St Andrews Church :)

I had a great time today with some young mums :)

Apologies to all - day three in my sick bed and it is NOT a bonnie sight :(

I should have done a sewing class for mums if I had I known it was World Book Day on Thursday - can't believe all the posts I'm seeing about people going out and spending money on outfits :O. You don't need to be a dressmaker to make fancy dress outfits - a pair of scissors, bits of old clothes, a needle and thread and a wee bit imagination are all you need!! I could embarrass Harvey by posting some of his primary school outfits ;)

Hmm a very lightweight Easter egg with more packaging than chocolate OR this bonnie wee bag stuffed full of Thornton's Alpini, sugared almonds, mini eggs and chocolate coffee beans?? No competition ;)

I'm looking for some (approx) 7/8 yr olds to come to a new sewing class after school - any day except Mondays - please share xx
