The Ethical Dairy Description
Unlike almost every other dairy farm in the country, at The Ethical Dairy calves get to stay with their mothers to suckle naturally. We share the milk with the calves, and we use it to produce a range of traditional artisan unpasteurised cheeses and luxury organic ice creams. The Ethical Dairy is based in south west Scotland and is an organic farm and a member of Pasture for Life. Our ethical dairy model is based around treating the animals, the land, our environment and the people who work here with respect and kindness. The Ethical Dairy is supported in its marketing by Dumfries and Galloway LEADER, and we are also grateful for the support of many individuals who contributed to our crowdfunder in autumn 2018.
