The Fairies Of Drybridge

The Fairies of Drybridge is a local community initiative. It is run by a group of local residents. The purpose of the inititive is to encourage families into the local area and enjoy the magic of our woodland walks.
The fairies love people visiting, all they ask is to please be sensitive to the natural surroundings of the walk. Please take litter home. As many of you know fairies are very shy creatures, they get very worried if someone tries to open their door without being asked to visit.

Hi, Gracie, Bobby, Alfie, Lucy, Amber, Alick, Emmy, Griffin, Hannah, Odin, Oria, Caleb and Sophie, I am the Queen of all the Drybridge fairies. They have been very busy today and have gathered all your lovely letters and brought them to my castle where I live. My name is Queen Genevieve Apple Blossom and i love my home in the forest very much. Thank you for bringing all these letters. P.S. I do know Annabelle the tooth fairy and Ben the elf, sometimes they help out in my woods 🍄🍄🍄

The fairies have been a bit upset because of the the litter being left in their woods. We are lucky they have decided to show us their fairy doors and magic. We wouldn't want the litter to scare them away. 🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄< br>

A few days ago, I was left a little fairy jar with a golden key inside, so I took it to the fairy king to ask if we could use it for the door of the new fairy castle that we are all busy building just now.......and he said "YES" so thank you to whoever left it for us Love Fairy Petunia Falconlashes xx

Went up today and we had a really good time, Emmy was so excited looking for all the fairy doors. Lots of effort gone into creating this in a lovely area .

Went to the walk for the 1st time today with boys and there chumz and they loved it

Went for a walk with my two daughters today they were over the moon to see the wee fairy doors and some houses for the fairies this wee fairy woods is so magically

We took kai and Ella up to find all the fairy houses today and they loved it.they left some flowers,Gems ,fairy dust and a blue and Purple Heart .xx

We had a lovely visit in the fairy woods our gradaughter Bella left lots of wee flowers petals where the Wee doors were missing to try and encourage the wee fairy back an new one to move in

We are just back from a lovely walk and already my daughter is asking when we can go back. She left a wee picture for the fairies and hung a couple of little fairy jars from one of the trees. We hope the fairies like them. ☺️ Well done to those involved. X

My little girl has constantly spoke about the fairies since we visited.. The fact that the time is taken to reply to the letters etc is fantastic and adds to the magic and memories ✨

I have been to the fairies of drybridge 5 times this year. First time on my own then with my 3 year old granddaughter we had a magical time as she searched for the doors to the fairy houses on the tree and all the other fairy houses. I went with two different friends on separate occasions and they also enjoyed the walk. My other granddaughters both enjoyed the walk , searching for the fairies houses , flats and sprinkled some fairy dust for the fairies. My 6 year old granddaughter decided that the sign for the end of the fairies might be a mistake so continued to search just in case one had gone beyond the sign. All visits were brilliant. I would recommend and will be doing again myself.

Had a lovely walk amongst the fairy houses today. Rebecca loved searching and counting all the wee houses. Will return soon with letters for the fairies.

Took my 2 eldest grandchildren on the walk this afternoon, they loved it. Even a daddy longlegs was mistaken for a fairy....
