Decent for soup and a hot chocolate. Really cosy place to be when it's freezing outside. Good service. Defo a recommendation 👌

Roaring fire, amazing view, warm and welcoming staff and the most amazing food 😍 that's why I keep coming back. Highly recommended

Stunning setting. Atmospheric old inn. Delicious food, and their own lager. What more could you want?

Beautiful little pub at lovely location. Only drank and didn't try food which lots of people seem to think is a dissapointment so can't say anything about that. But it's well worth a stop for a refreshing ale and whisky.

Not a good experience at all.

I will start of with the good points (as this will be very short). We were welcomed warmly and the young lady we spoke to at the start was very nice and friendly.

Now on to why the low rating. I am going to break this in to points as there are a number of reasons for this terrible experience.
- When we ordered it was like the person was walking around in a day dream. Nice guy but needs to pay more attention to the customers he is serving
- we ordered a kids meal and two burgers with cheese and bacon. We got the burgers and after a few bites noticed there was no bacon. When we brought this to the attention of the staff they just stated ho we know but you should have been told. Then just walked away.
- Nothing else got offered in place of the burger which I found disappointing as they were asking almost £14 for this burger that was not as described.
-I did not finish the burger at. I left over half. It was that disappointing.
- When we finished it was like they were rushing us out the door. As soon as the plates were lifted they quickly handed the bill over. It felt like they were saying right that's you go now.
- said to the waitress at this point to let someone know that we wanted to make someone aware that I was not happy however no one came up to discuss anything. It was like they were just trying to ignore me.
- this is the insulting part in my opinion. They took just £1 off the £40 bill for failing to tell us there was no bacon and then failing to deal with the situation. Not only that if you were to add an extra thing on they would charge you £3 as it states on the menu.

So in short we were ingored, insalted and sold something that we did not get. I would not recommend at all with the experience that me and my family had.

Staff were exceptional and accommodated us really well when we requested a table later in the day. Meals and beer was great and the atmosphere very welcoming.

A great pub lunch after a lovely bike ride from Strathyre. Very welcoming and the tired dogs loved the roaring fire. Thank you

Popped in for a coffee when visiting the falls. Cost with wood burning drive and sofas. A tad on the expensive side.
