The Famous Grouse Experience

Excellent tour of a traditional distillery. Offers great history of the brand, well done explanation of how whisky is made, and the tastings were excellent. Strongly recommend the additional tasting at the end, truly made the experience. Thanks to all for a great afternoon!

Famous Grouse experience was a unique experience that we will never forget! We were a group of 8 hospitality professionals, barmans, Sommeliers, assistant managers from Dubai Restaurants and Retails! We had 8 course dinner paired with whisky and delicious cocktails.. I'd love to visit them again! :')

It's one of my favorite distilleries because of the nice atmosphere and the beautiful landscape around it.
We've filled our own bottle from a cask and had a scone at the terrace. Definitely worth a trip!

A fantastic surprise. Outstanding afternoon tea which is excellent value for money. Fabulous surroundings and a beautiful setting. Well worth a visit even if it's not for the whiskey!

Great experience! Restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. The tour is informative and interesting. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall excellent adventure!

A very good opportunity to learn about making process and taste the Scottish whisky. Eat well before you go and have the drink neat, without ice or water.

1994 was the first time I visted this oldest distillery and looking at the fotos a lot has changed. Next time iam in Scotland I will be calling.

The Famous Grouse experience is largely oversold, famous grouse isn't made or bottled here. This is a distillery tour about one whiskey which blends into the famous grouse somewhere else. The Glenturret distillery experience was rather informative and very interesting. Tour guide was very Scottish, funny and helpful. Two free samples to finish the tour off(take away option for drivers)
