had amazing time on Sunday, music line up amazing, great choice of food stalls best i have seen yet, layout was perfect and even a family section for kids with music and facepainting etc. best time ever would do it all again fab set up

User

What a treat to experience so many legendary acts in such a beautiful park, minutes away from home! As I get older the thought of camping at a festival is less appealing but this family friendly event was such a joy to share with our four year old who was singing along to Chic (having seen them in the bandstand last year!). The family friendly area was a welcome retreat in the shade of the old climbing tree and Mini Manoeuvres never fail to disappoint with their excellent tuneage, soft play, face painting and other young (and old!) people friendly entertainment. Such good vibes all round, complimented by the amazing weather.

User

What a fantastic day we had at Fiesta on Sunday! The sun was shining and there was a great atmosphere. We loved the choice of food, particularly loved the street food curries and unlike a lot of negative reports from Saturday the queues were minimal, and the food and drink plentiful! Fab music, absolutely loved Emile Sande and Nile Rogers and Chic, an amazing end to a perfect day. Well done to the organisers for listening to comments from yesterday and making sure that issues were addressed. Roll on next year!

User

Utter bliss on a day with the Sun and some of the best artists playing their tunes in our big special park.......it was hours of magical moments and memories for all of us

User

Had a fantastic day on the Sunday with all my best friends in the world. We loved the music especially Nile Rogers and chic. Danced our socks off! Great atmosphere, fantastic weather in a great location. Maybe for next year a few more food stalls would be good but otherwise it was an excellent experience

User

Had a fantastic day dancing to Chic in the sun!!! Lovely atmosphere and I liked the size of the site - big enough to not feel enclosed but not so big that you needed to go for a hike for a drink.

User

Had a brilliant day on Sunday. Loved all the acts & contrary to other reviews, I liked how the VIP section was away from the main event. Great food & didn’t queue at all for food, toilets or bar. Well done to everyone involved in the set up! One thing though.....I didn’t know anything about this event until it was promoted on itison so perhaps the marketing could’ve been better? Great job

User

Great setting and good crowd. Brilliant weekend all in. Yes queues were long on Saturday but I expect that at a festival. Also seen some reviews complaining about the ground being dirty..... eh, you’re in a park!!!! Can’t wait until the next one!x

User

Great set up, good choice of food & drink & beautiful venue. The music was absolutely amazing, what a line up! The long table experience was very good. Had such a brilliant 2 days, can’t wait until next year 😊

User

Amazing day yesterday at Fiesta, I’d been to transmit day before I thought fiesta was fantastic, well run and much nicer more laidback atmosphere, same policy as trans limiting to 4 drinks per person .. seems fair enough!

Food and drinks offering were fab and all staff were pleasant and helpful...

Plenty of on site loos that were for most part all clean.. ..

children’s area great idea as were viewing platforms and private dining experience!

VIP area again loved it... well done to all involved and can’t wait to go next year!

So many negative reviews but our experience was perfect all day.. you expect to Q for drinks, food and loos at a festival .. site was spotless which is something you don’t normally see .. and plenty of seating all around the site ..

User

Was apprehensive about going to Fiesta on Sunday after all the comments about long queues and poor sound on Saturday… have to say I was pleasantly surprised and glad we went. Sound quality was perfect as far as I could tell, Morcheeba and Goldfraap were terrific, there didn't seem to be any long queues anywhere on site on Sunday, perhaps the numbers were down on the day before? I hadn't been to the Bandstand version in years gone past so couldn't compare it, but I loved this festival, just the right size, accessible from the city centre, pleasant atmosphere and good acts, hopefully it stays this way for next year and they can learn from the apparent mistakes of the Saturday. My only gripe would be the lack of vegan-specific vendors, some of the stalls offered one or two options which were tailored for vegans, but would be good to have more of a full vegan menu available. Would definitely go again. ☺️

User

We flew from Bristol for this event as a Birthday treat for my wife (she wanted to see Chic & Nile Rodgers and of course EW&F). The event itself was really very very good, great bands, bit too much swearing with Del A Soul. Organisation getting in and information was terrible, totally disorganised and no clear sign where to get in. Having to queue for wristbands even though we had tickets, what a shambles, (plus point, we paid for Saturday only but got weekend wristbands instead, couldn't go Sunday so donated them to hotel staff). Food was overpriced, even more so the drinks, though it was good there was free drinking water so we stuck to that. Fantastic weather, all in all a great time was had, just organise it better please.

User

Poor show guys ! Really enjoyed the day as the acts were great , sound was terrible , couldn’t get any food , not enough toilets , not enough bars , no one really knew what was going on , couldn’t go out and back for food so we left early .. did not bother going back for the second day ! The band stand was amazing last year .. this was not organised for the number of tickets sold .. totally done on the cheap .. go and have a look at Hyde park calling , clean toilets , loads of food , great bars , short waits for everything- ultimately worth the money .. feel a bit conned by what you put on at kelvingrove Park !

User

Organisation was pathetic. A lot of wrong or missing info on website - were told no pass outs (wrong); no chairs, food or drink to be brought in (saw a lot of that); tried to enter via Clifton St (with electronic tickets) but told to go to main entrance as we had 17 year old with us. No one could explain why. Had to join long queue. Queues for drinks, toilets etc inside were too long. Sound issues for Pointer Sisters and Chic were mystifying, but the artists were great. Enjoyed the music enough to make a good day overall but wouldn’t go again.

User

Great day spoiled by having to que fir toilets , drinks and food. Twice we stood in a que fir over 30mins to be told there was none left. Venue and music were brilliant and it was a beautiful day just a shame the organisers didn’t have enough toilets or vendors for food and drink.

User

A group of 5 of us attended yesterday and have to say had a great time despite big wait for food. Great line up and crowd (excluding those who where aggressive to staff). 2 hours is way too long to wait for food. Considering the website promises food that was exciting and diverse I think it fell short. We would consider attending again if you can get the catering right!

User

Terrible VIP experience, paid £345 for 4 standard tickets, then decided to upgrade to VIP & paid a further £201, got absolutely nothing for this but inadequate toilet facilities that ran out of water, VIP area positioned far from the action, a free for all at the so called VIP bar, sound issues with Nile Rodgers carrying out a soundcheck during his set, one food vendor, hardly any seats & nothing under cover in the sweltering heat, no signs anywhere promoting that you could leave venue to get food & return again as queues were a joke, no signs anywhere advising what entrance to go to if you had VIP tickets, no signs promoting free massages & beauty treatments in VIP area & VIP platform so far from main stage with only one nearby Portaloo with a huge queue, e-mailed them for partial refund but no joy, i was offered VIP tickets next year but not sure i would return again, have been told that BAaD Events organised this event & it was stated as such on itison deal but they are saying otherwise, a totally dreadful experience, very poorly organised event & shambolic to say the least, felt totally ripped off!!! Tried to post on FB my e-mail to them & their subsequent reply but it wouldn't let me - surprise surprise!!!

User

This was my granddaughters first festival and was a family day out . The organisation of the event was a joke !!!! £79 for nowhere to sit- 7/8 hours is a long time to stand !!! We actually spent no time together as a family !! as either me or my daughter was in a queue !!! Then the food , that was a joke , stood in one queue , it shut , queued in the other one , IT SHUT too !! looked at the other queue , we would have stood for 2 hours , or it could have shut too !!. We were told not allowed out , Then the stewards said we were . Its disgusting , if you have children , they need fed. We left and went to a local restaurant , I missed De La Soul and Chic , gutted with that !!! What a let down for people to spend their hard earned cash on this .
