Great vegetarian and vegan options in this cafe. Quite busy at weekends but the food was lovely and very cosy atmosphere.

Friendly cafe with a lot of space to sot. Friendly stuff, food was delicious and reasonably priced, good vegan menu. Will be back!

First time I have been in this cafe .Ordered a bacon roll very expensive for a microwave bacon roll. Why oh why would you microwave bacon when it could be fried or grilled , it was all fatty and greasy awful.Brioche bun was nice though , brown sauce a bit watery and not very nice .Could not eat roll as bacon was inedible .Had a coconut praline slice of cake £3 expensive but was z huge chunk .Could not find any praline in it at all .Tasted nice until it came to edges it was burnt black but hidden by topping .Why be so lazy when you could trim off burnt bit's of sponge .Tea loose but very very expensive double the price of other places and not even great tea .Hate the wooden boards that food is served on I always think they look dirty and unhygienic. Lastly I am disabled went into toilet floor sailing with water .Plus the horror of lights plunging out mid use of toilet I was stuck as I never knew what was happening .Apparently it's something they have had for a while just needs timer altering .Well do it its frightening for disabled people being plunged into darkness .No warning sign to tell people .Lastly I mentioned floor was wet and look and behold girl with short blonde hair took a white cotton tea towel with red stripe and wiped up toilet floor yugh hope she does not use that near food in the kitchen .Only good thing was staff were friendly and informal and in fact they were eating and drinking behind the counter which perhaps shows a lack of professionalism but in my opinion it's nice to know the staff like the food .At one point 4 of them were eating out of 5 .Won't go back disappointing and very expensive for microwave bacon roll .x

Flame Tree is my favourite place for vegan brunch! Love the BLT with avocado. The coffee is great too. Friendly staff and very reasonably priced!

My observations are purely based on "Value for Money"
How can you charge such high prices for what is essentially a coffee and sandwich place. The prices are through the roof. I wouldn,t mind paying their prices if what they serve represented value for money, but what is served here is generally poor. Out of the 6 of us none would visit again. There is far better in Dundee.

Coffee is excellent. Management and staff efficient and friendly.

Love this cafe! Scott, Jackie and their staff are welcoming and efficient. There is always a happy atmosphere here and the quality of the food especially the baking is very good. Perhaps in 2017 we will see a menu which is a little more adventurous.

Overly expensive for strikingly average food & drink. Staff are a little abrupt at times and seem to forget that you're still a paying customer once you have handed over the cash. Place is clean and tidy, hence the 2 stars rather than just 1.
