Congratulations to the Queensferry Crossing team on another prestigious award win, picking up Project of the Year at last night's #CNAwards
Judges' comment: “Transport Scotland has managed this incredible project exceptionally well, with its amazing statistics speaking for themselves”

User

Well done to the bridge workers who helped clean up the beaches around North Queensferry 👏

User

Fabulous photo by Adrian Maricic of noctilucent clouds above the Forth Bridges - this is meteor dust 90 miles above the earth, coated with ice and illuminated by solar rays!

We all love the Forth Bridge but this must be its number one fan!! 👏😂
Watch the whole video to appreciate...

User

This video shows an Impact Protection Vehicle (IPV), struck by a vehicle that crossed into roadworks, injuring the driver in the cab. But it did it's job, and he kept his colleagues from harm.
Please take extra care near roadworks and think about #RoadworkerSafety

User

Well done to the team 👏

This week Amey and Scotland's other trunk road operating companies are launching a campaign to speak up for road workers.
We had a bit of fun making this video featuring "Marty", the dummy bridge staff use to train for rescue operations.
It's a serious message though - kill your speed, not a road worker!

not been on it yet but it looks first class and i thought wee were getting shot of the fifers lol only kidding i was brought up with fifers you could trust them with your life as i done for years in our justice systems

User

Use it over 5 days a week after 4 am and back at 5.30pm, lot better at 70 if some drivers did more than 40..old bridge needs to retire gracefully..

User

The bridges themselves are works of art, and should be cherished.

The local infrastructure can't handle the traffic - hence continual delays.

One of the jewels in Scotland's crown!

Hopefully now the 'new' one is up and running things may ease a little, but I always get a lump in my throat whenever I cross by road or rail!

All 3 really are a sight to behold. Wish I lived in Queensferry!

User

The Queensferry Crossing is a tribute to modern building techniques. It stands proud alongside it's Forth Road and Forth Rail Bridge sisters. Well Done to all the men and women who have built such an icon and again puts Scotland on the map. Also was great to see HMS Queen Elizabeth sail under her.

User

The Forth Bridge. Without doubt the best looking bridge in the world. The other Forth Crossings are there to give you something to look at the Forth Bridge from.

User

Love the Art work from the old time~

User

Doing the "day job". Scotlands ingenuity on show for the rest of the world to see.

User

As a professional UAV Operator, I find the bridges one of my favourite places to photograph, the new QC is just an amazing piece of civil engineering and certainly brightens up the Forth. I was there taking some footage and photos of it today, just majestic!

User

A fantastic bridge great to see it complete and a be pleasure to commute across new bridge after watching it being constructed over the past few years

User

Not a review but a query regarding traffic crossing the Queensferry Crossing on a Saturday. I am travelling to Edinburgh Airport next Saturday from Tayside and trying to work out when I will need to leave so that I am at airport for midday. Is the traffic lighter at the weekend than during the working week

User

14.30 on a Saturday afternoon and there are hour long queues either way, for no apparent reason? Return journey at 19.30 same day and still long delays, for no apparent reason. And you built the Northbound carriageway to the west which means everyone is blinded from low sun glare. Bravo.

User

Very poor traffic management created traffic jams North and southbound for no reason southbound has a traffic jam over two miles long.. When on bridge you then leave gantry signs blank... What speed do you do on the bridge is it the 40mph you have set or is it make your own mind up... You have not indicated that the 40mph restrictions are over. Get a grip of traffic management

User

This is a complete shambles the commute to and from work is longer even long delays on a Sunday. So much for it easing congestion that's a joke .

User

Stop slowing traffic to 40mph causing HUGE tailbacks on approach from both sides and starting the selfish dickhead drivers going up to the roundabout, northbound, and back down the other side!!

At night the bridge is even worse!

20mph???? Really????

Absolute JOKE!!

User

So this is a "managed motorway".. It's that "intelligent" the signs don't even correspond to the road works underneath.. This is consistently a problem, red X's saying do not use lanes, despite other lanes being coned off, speed limits displayed in SHUT lanes, total disregard for end signs after works (chapter 8 requirement btw), speed reductions a mile before roadworks, lanes closed half a mile before taper by overhead red X's, speeds as low as 20mph on gantries for no obvious reason, any other road it would be 50mph.

The cheek of them to install speed cameras to ensure motorist compliance when they're showing no regard for legislation is incredible, transport Scotland, Amey, sub contractors.. You're undermining the entire idea of anyone ever obeying a road sign when you clearly haven't a clue what's happening between gantries and roadworks underneath, someone needs to take some responsibility for this mess at nights, it's obvious management don't work at nights to anyone who's had the confusing task of trying to navigate through these roadworks at night.

Use the fixed signs or use the overheads, at least aim for consistency if you're going to try and use both.. Get the people programming them some training as they're obviously completely clueless! This isn't a new things it's been ongoing for months. 5/7/18

User

Same problem..... only just moved onto new crossing ... absolutely nothing has changed for those of us who use it everyday!! Totally disappointed!! My biggest bug bear is at (almost any time of the day) the SQF slip road ...... as soon as theres a build up of traffic ...... only gets worse as selfish road users can easily go up and over to "cheat" their way forward into the queue only to hold the rest of us up even more as it comes to an almost halt!!!

User

Maybe if they stopped reducing speed limit on the bridge 40mph there would not be the tail backs I have seen in the past three days.

User

Looks great but same traffic problems and road works every night as the old one although as an added twist. We now go across northbound at 9 pm with imaginary lane closures too.

User

Beautiful bridge, however 13:30 on Sunday and we are basically gridlocked and crawling along miles before the bridge. This is a continuous theme and is causing constant delays in travel time.
