Good food nice surroundings price is fairly reasonable

We live nearby and have now been there several times both for lunch and dinner. The ambience is an eclectic mix of styles but works well and is very pleasant and relaxing. The food is excellent and offers a good variety, and there is a wonderful selection of cocktails. The scotch whisky based ones are most unusual but very well worth trying. My only slight negative comment is that the service can be patchy and slow. Overall well worth a visit and we will keep going back.

This is my new fav place. Staff are professional and extremely friendly, the food is to die for I want to go and sample the whole menu. Well done to everyone who makes this dinning experience so wonderful can't wait to go back

Booked here for a two night stay with dinner and were not disappointed.The welcome we received was great and were shown round the hotel.Rooms were really nice and food was superb.Staff were very efficient and friendly. Would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel.

Friendly staff and good food. Very nicely decorated with nice upmarket feel and atmosphere. If only they could get the king prawn pasta right-if we wanted tomato sauce we'd have picked the pasta in tomato sauce; even so, still giving it 5 stars.

It was private which we appreciated, but was far too warm with fire and radiator, the room became very uncomfortable

Was there for funeral tea, made welcome and service was great.

Had a family dinner for 8 in a semi private room off the main dining room. Good choice of food, including gluten free and children's menus. Generous portions and all very tasty

I really enjoyed my short stay at the Carrick Lodge. Gorgeous gardens, tidy rooms with spotless amenities, really friendly staff (even when you accidentally bring a cat home with you at midnight. I hope he found his way home). Breakfast was lovely as well and the sausages were really good. Would heartily recommend.
