Lovely building situated in beautiful surroundings. Room was excellent with en suite bathroom. Food, drink and service all excellent too. Would definitely recommend.
(we had a classic double room for 48 gbp including breakfast). Rooms were good, however walls are a bit thin if you have noisy neighbours. Breakfast was good, nice food options and more than enough. However service at breakfast was slow, tea/coffee took 15 minutes. And 20 minutes before we could order. As breakfast is rather slow en till 9.30, a check out before 10 is a bit early. Would surely booked again for this price!
Great wee place. Have stayed 3-4 times now. They do host weddings regularly so it can be a busy and sometimes noisy place. Rooms are higher end with spa baths in some of the rooms. Enjoyable restaurant and small bar. Outside seating is available
Food was excellent, staff were great, room was crap. It felt like the bed had collapsed when you say or lay on it. To get to the rooms you needed a compass or maybe a sextant.
Lovely rooms. Great food. Service a bit slow at times. But all in all a great place
Nice quiet comfortable place, meals are good with nice staff.. rooms are better than daybreak stays.. drinks were Reasonable not too expensive... In all 5 stars worth the money for a break...
