What a lovely Scottish welcome team, food amazing, rooms dated but clean, would return again and again!

We were in a local park with the dog and asked someone for a dog friendly pub. The Georgian hotel was recommended. We are in the bar which was quite dark due to the decor but my other half was pleased as the football was showing on the tv's. Beautiful food and beautiful presentation with excellent service . You could tell it was all made from a scratch, nothing frozen here. I had the soup and the roast and my partner had the fish and chips, restaurant quality bar food. We will definitely be returning again when we are in the area. I liked that it was set in a residential area too.

We held our sons baptism in the main function room at the weekend. The manager Brendan was great at communicating with us and was very accommodating by ordering in enough cups to feed our 150 guests. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the quirky buffet of a cup a grub especially the steak pie. Staff on the day were helpful & friendly. Thanks again for helping the day run smoothly.

We had our wedding here November 2017 all the staff were amazing and helped make our day special . Would recommend the Georgian to accommadate for any event even down to a local drink and food .

The Georgian is a ver nice wee hotel. The stuff cater for everyone in anyway they can. Brendan was a star, went above and beyond the help me and my new husband on our wedding day. We had our wedding there and it had everything that we could have wanted and more. If your looking for a do, or just a little party for a birthday look no further. Will use again if we ever need too.

Thank you so much for a fantastic 30th here last night. Room was all set lovely for 25 guests. staff was amazing especially Steven he was so helpful and nothing was a bother. Even reserved a table at bar for afterwards for my guests. The meal was outstanding huge thanks to the chef itŌĆÖs was amazing, great value for money. Will definitely be back for a Function or dinner . Thanks again.

Thank you for the amazing service & lovely buffet after our daughters funeral. CouldnŌĆÖt have asked for more really.

Myself and my fianc├®e were in for dinner last night. I had a beautiful steak cooked to absalute perfection (medium/rare) along with veg and chunky chips. It's most deffinetly one of the best steaks I have ever eaten in Scotland! Chef also went the extra mile and served my fianc├®e with some sorbet that was not on the menu. All round fantastic place to eat, drink and dance

My wife and I had our 30th wedding anniversary party here. The planning and cooperation that Brendan, the manager, put into our event was faultless. The staff looked after us all well and the buffet food served to the tables was a great touch and allowed the party to continue on without stopping. Highly recommend using this great venue :)

Honestly!!! If I could give 10 stars I really would. Had a great wee date night tonight - totally last minute. We booked the restaurant And I can't honestly tell you how amazing it was. I have genuinely never had food so delicious. We weren't able to finish our mains and I had to do something I would never dream of! I got my first doggy bag. I had to - it would have been a crime not to.



The setting in the restaurant is beautiful - we say by the fire. The waiter was fantastic - Steven I think he was! Made me a fantastic gin daisy cocktail - wow!

My partner had the king prawns to start and said it's the best he's ever had. He then got a burger - uv never seen anything like it... it was like a high rise - but he enjoyed ever bit! I had soup which was lovely but I got enchiladas- thinking oh no - should have got something fancier - but I was not disappointed - came with nachos which I'm not a huge fan of so ordered a side of onion rings too. But the tortillas for the nachos are home made - stunning.



Thanks for an amazing night. Can't wait for another excuse to come back. Thank you all for a lovely evening.

Had my daughters communion here on Saturday, Brendan was so accommodating and couldnŌĆÖt do any more for us! Staff were great, food was lovely and itŌĆÖs a fabulous venue! The weather made it even better and we made use of the outside area also! Would highly recommend!

Had a lovely mothers day afternoon tea at the Georgian. Staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Food was ace and defo visit again.

Had a brilliant night at my son's 21st on Saturday! Great service at the bar, great food at a great price and great music from the DJ who catered for all ages that were bopping all night long!! Can't blame the hangover on anyone though! Highly recommended, thx to Brendan and his team - thoroughly enjoyed it!

Excellent priced delicious food and waiting staff very friendly and accommodating. Sunday roast was fabulous.

Came in for dinner tonight with my husband. We both had lentil soup to start and fillet steaks for our mains. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced too. Very welcoming and friendly waiting and bar staff. We will most definitely be back. Thank you Brendan and your staff for making us feel welcome :)

Another great meal at the Georgian.Had a lovely lunch and a few bottles as always the staff are fab and great food ŌĆö/donŌĆÖt think you advertise your lunch menu enough though
