The Gilchrist Postgraduate Club is a social and study hub for postgraduate students and staff of the University of Glasgow, offering a comfortable and friendly environment for postgrads and staff to interact with one another.
The Gilchrist Postgraduate Club Description
The club has both social and study spaces, with a bar area, individual study booths and a seminar room. The seminar room, which is available to be booked in advance, will give postgraduates the use of the space for seminars, meetings, presentations, workshops, film screenings and much, much more. Capacity is about 60 seminar style.

Jazzco return for the final time this semester!
They play mainstream and modern jazz in a range of styles, principally Swing, Bebop, Blues and Latin. Their repertoire includes tunes from George Gershwin to Miles Davis, from Duke Ellington to Frank Zappa, together with originals from band members.
JazzCo is an energetic band, with musicianship and fun celebrated in equal measure, their audiences appreciating the ‘good time’ feel they bring to our music.
... Grab a glass of wine at our bar and enjoy the live music. This event is free to attend.

Our pub quiz returns for one last time this semester!
So if you think you’ve got the brains; we’ve got the quiz…Let's make lots of money. Join our regular quiz master Kenny, who will offer you a wide range of general knowledge questions and specialized 'geekery'.
Bring your friends, or come alone and make new ones. Pub quizzes are a great way to meet fellow postgraduate students, while also showing off your knowledge. You can compete for vouchers for free food/drink in the G...ilchrist or even a cash prize!
Entry Fee - £1 per person (please note you can't purchase tickets in advance, the entry fee is to be paid to the quizmaster on the night)

They will both return next month and these will be the final ones of the academic year.
Reminder: until Friday, we will only be open until 6pm. Normal weekday hours will return from next week.
