User

was here for comic con and the staff actually took us from the queue to allow us to get in and up in the access lift without any fuss. The venue was laid out so we could find everything and the disabled toilets were large and clean which is so often an issue. Staff were happy to help with anything we needed and I'd been worried about going so was relieved!

User

Went to see the NYOS and Ive got to say they where outstanding. The place was clean staff very friendly my only advice is try and get a see further away from the skate as we where in the front row and couldnt see the back of th stage. The accustics great where we were seated front row centre. I will be back at some point as i had a great nite

User

Went to see Gladys Knight in Concert on Tuesday 4th July. Good seats and we had a great view of the stage. Fantastic performance by Gladys Knight and her supporting groups and band. I really love going to this venue as it's well organised with plenty of choice for preferred seating. However, next time I would try and book seats near to the stage, as I don't want to miss a thing! Fab night, fab venue, love it.

User

Very good place for music, seats were comfortable, easy to get to, food and drink prices were average.

User

This is a great venue. The acoustics are superb. I've been to so many great gigs here. Ry Cooder , Van the Man , Buena Vista Social Club , to name but a few , all fantastic.

User

Saw Tony Bennett here 1st July. Seating extremely comfortable and spacious, and not too steeply ramped. Visibility excellent from all sides. Well ventilated and not too hot.Tony B magnificent. Acoustics marvellous too, as proved when he put his mic' down and serenaded the audience.

User

Perfect venue for up coming artists I've been here three times to see Irish country singer Nathan carter and it was brillant no hassle from staff and they organised a queue for meet and greet afterwards

User

Great venue, friendly and helpful staff and great accoustics. Not too big so all views are good and leads to a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

User

First time visiting. Was able to collect tickets in the afternoon - very convenient, staff friendly and efficient. Bar pretty good, but we were early. Acoustics terrific for Gladys Knight. Fantastic night. Security folks discrete but effective.

User

Been to many concerts here and it never disappoints. Seating arrangements , acoustics and view of stage very good regardless of where you are positioned. Although large a great atmosphere can be created by audience and performers alike as with the recent Jackson Browne concert which was a perfect example of an artist connecting with his audience Love the place

User

A good big asset for Glasgow

User

The auditorium is fantastic. The show was tremendous. The toilets however were not. Last night in the ladies toilets there was a cubicle without a door, a cubicle where the door didn't close properly and one said "out if order". The hand towel dispenser ran out so a roll of paper towels was put out. I think the show was sold our so how difficult is it to get these things fixed before a sell out show.

User

Human League SUPERB. Staff great. Uneasy with patrons being allowed to take alcohol into auditorium. Also drinking from plastic tumblers a no no. There was an incident with some drunk patrons. One in particular who was a danger to himself and others. Security staff, on the ball. Dealt with him and my friend and I were taken to better seats.

User

We were here yesterday for my sons graduation. The facilities and venue itself was lovely but I was appalled at the segregation of my son's wheelchair-using classmate. I don't know if this was the fault of GCU or the GRCH but it seemed ridiculous and unnecessary. Also, despite being promised celebratory drinks afterwards, by the time we exited the auditorium, used the, bathroom and came down the stairs the wine had run out. The random allocation of seats meant also that each student in my son's (very small 9 student) class was allocated to a different 'reception area', so couldn't celebrate together for that time afterwards which was mad. Needless to say the lack of promised drinks and lack of provision for classmates to socialise together meant we left promptly after the ceremony. On the plus side, the seats were comfortable, the sound quality was good, the loos were clean and the cloakroom facilities excellent.

User

I saw Black Stone Cherry here in November 2016 and the venue itself is fantastic, the sound was great, seats were decent and we had a great view. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed by the staff at the venue, we had passes for early access and no one seemed to know what to do or where we should go which ended up in us going in at the same time as people who hadn't paid extra for the passes. I also have chronic illnesses that make stairs an issue and there was no help from anyone to access any easy way to get into the building for me. I ended up having to take all the stairs and slowing other people in the crowds down which was rather embarrassing. Was disappointed in the staff but the band made up for it.

User

Nice venue but seats in appalling condition. I ended up injured as my armrest was missing and only bare and jagged metal instead. Wasted my night as had to leave early due to the injury.

User

Two issues here.

1 - temporary seating in the front stalls for the ultimate 80s gig last week. The most uncomfortable seats ever. No email notice to advise of this change.

2 - booked tickets for Brian Ferry - I had front row on the block J row A in my basket, clicked to pay straight away and they disappeared out my basket. Now I know it was not user error as I book tickets on their site all the time. Not happy

User

David Byrne tickets! Absolute disgrace, you can add seats to your baskets but when checking out coming up with an error. Can’t get through on the phone either what a waste of my time since 10 this morning

DREADFUL!

If I could give half a star I would have!

I have been asking since the beginning of the year about information pertaining to the upcoming World Irish Dancing Championships. The website is a joke it can't give me any information about the event I mean at all, same with the other associated venues sites.

Not one person could give me the information I was asking for or tell me how or where to obtain it. I am disgusted that such an event should be so badly unadvertised. It's not even listed on the facebook page!

Last time I was at the concert hall it was for the RSNO Star Wars concert. To say it was a chaotic ghastly mess is putting it politely. Celtic Connections was still on which meant that there were NOTHING like enough staff available to police both events.
