Warm, cosy great breakfast and friendly atmosphere
Comfortable old world charm. Well located in Broderick within short walking distance to foreshore. Loved the complimentary fresh cake left out for guests every aftefnoon.
Needed one night's stay. There was only one single room left . I went up to see as already on arran.I ended up two nights in double room in was really grateful couldn't be more helpful.
The room was comfortable and had ensuite.
Breakfast was good. I'm vegetarian and they accommodated for that. They even had weetabix lol. They were really helpful .
It was a pity there was only 2 nights available but I was glad there had been. I would stay there again in a heartbeat Anyone thinking of booking don't hesitate or you'll miss out on one of the best places to stay on arran . Thanks for making me welcome and hopefully I can get booked up again ☺

Lovely, no-nonsense accommodation in the heart of Brodick. Ross and Hannah couldn't be more helpful and I can't recommend this place enough ! 😊😊
Lovely. Room, bathroom, lounges clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and a warm welcome. Would definitely use as a base for a trip to the area again.
Nice and clean not sure about the two rooms sharing the same bathroom.
Excellent location! Great breakfast, friendly staff, very clean, comfortable bed and short walk to ferries and bus stops.
An outstanding B&B and recommended by people who live on the island! Very well set up and run. Clean and airy communal facilities, gardens, views, great breakfast, moments from Brodick, plus tea and cake whenever you need - what's not to like!
When myself and my family needed a room urgently (as our car broke down), Hannah could not of been more helpful. I had previously rung about 8 other B&B's in Brodick, all of whom could really not have cared less!
Hannah took the initiative, called me back within 5 minutes and had reorganised some rooms to accommodate. The trouble she went to (in comparison to the other island B&B's!) would have got 5 stars, but all the added extras made the stay exceptional.
I later found out that a large family on the island send their relatives to The Glenartney when they come to stay - I now know why!
An excellent guest house with interesting artworks from the landlady. The breakfasts were good and our room was fine, although we had the one where the bathroom is not en-suite, but next-door - no great hardship, really. It's set up for possible bad weather in that it's OK to hang around in the public rooms where there are many books, and free tea, drinks and snacks available - which is nice
