With fantastic views over the water and a short walk in to town. This hotel makes up a great stay in Rothesay. Free breakfast served in the morning included in price and beds that were made up brilliantly (mattresses were a little hard but not a big worry as it was still comfy) and showers were perfect �. Evening entertainment was awesome with the bar also opened till late. Staff were attentive and well presented. Car parking also no problem as there are spaces too.

What could have made my stay better was if I remembered to bring a mobile phone charger.

Went to the Glenburn for afternoon tea as a birthday treat for my mother, the bar area is beautiful. I never saw the place before the refurbishment but am very impressed with how it looks now. The sandwiches & cakes were fabulous, such a great selection, with endless tea of coffee, all enjoyed whilst overlooking the fantastic view of the bay⛵️. Excellent value for money, excellent service, amazing place, definitely going back very soon! ☕️🍾🍰

Was over on Bute for work and decided to have lunch here and now I want to come back to stay!



Very friendly staff, really lovely interior and the manager was nice enough to show me the rooms.



Bar and restaurant really good value for money. Burger and good portion of chips for £9.75.

Tribute nights are fantastic.Saw Karin Bello as Tina Turner last night at the Glenburn Hotel and what a performance. she was full of energy and looked and sounded very like the original Tina.

The lady on reception was extremely helpful. The rooms were very freshly decorated, The beds and bedding were so comfortable and overall cleanliness perfect. We had a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I loved the fact that there was absolutely no self-service in the morning. Eg. everything was brought to you.Cold juice and freshly made toast brought to your table. Highly recommended

The Hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. We love the Tribute weekends and are at a Motown themed weekend just now. The rooms are fabulous. There is nothing not to like. Good is great and if you fancy a walk into the town it takes 5 minutes. Well done the Glenburn Hotel.

Please note.....Get Tennents lager and Strongbow cider on tap. Carlsberg is not great lager. Otherwise....we love the hotel.

The Glenburn Hotel is immaculate, it has friendly staff and the food is really good. I've been to this hotel a few times now and will be back again the end of this year. See you soon

Moved to Rothesay last year, first visit to the Glenburn for afternoon tea, very enjoyable, we will recommend and return.

Just had the most fantastic weekend with my mum here. Food was fantastic, room was lovely with comfiest bed and pillow. Hotel is just gorgeous. Staff were lovely. (Took us a while to find way to car park as sign on wall to hotel hasn’t been painted for many years. ) Cannot wait to go back!

I have already tagged a lot of my friends and put photos of your prices on my face book and the food and staff are extremely helpful the room we got was 313 and we loved it . the view was as amazing from it and it was spotless James the singer is very good my friends an I are hoping to be here in April and I will be having a word with my boss as I also take a lot off people with learning disabilities on holiday a big thank you to you all one very satisfied customer

Good food, good company and a lovely homely feel in a relaxing space to enjoy after a day at work.

Celebrated my birthday there and it was "simply the best". Patersons great restaurant and Saturdays cabaret. Highly recommended.

Attended the gin festival. It was a brilliant day! Hopefully many more to come. We were there from 4pm until 12am. Food was excellent as was the entertainment and the gin speaks for itself. Hotel looks great now. We will definately be back!!

Attended gin festival and afternoon tea at recently refurbished hotel. Furnishings and decor completed to a lovely high standard. Definitely an asset now to the island and look forward to more events like this. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Well done for your first gin festival.

3 course carvery lunch for mothers day was fantastic. Very warm welcome, polite staff and lovely ambience. Would recommend

One big error we decided to eat outside as the weather was fabulous, only to have starter served to us, without the table being cleared or cleaned Waitress said it wasn't her job. I had to swiftly run to the ladies toilets to get wet paper towels to clean it myself As well as empty a large ashtray. Understand hotel was really busy previous to our arrival however they know how many guests are booked, but can't order enough supplies, a number of meals were off the menu as they had run out. Being short staffed, and short supplied is poor service, shame as the hotel has that something special about it. We decided to find another bar (Struan) for evening entertainment did not want to be anymore disappointed. Breakfast ordered porridge with raisins and honey ALL OUT OF. Porridge??????

Lovely Hotel and Staff were great. Great views from the patio and food good 👍🏻
