The Glenburn Hotel

Only stayed 1 night but a very enjoyable night it was. The staff couldn't be any more helpful and polite, great entertainment, room was huge & spotless with a very comfortable bed. Great breakfast with plenty to choose from.
I will definitely be going back. Well done and thank you Glenburn 😀

Great weekend away hotel. Hotel in middle of refurbishment during visit. Beautiful old building with lovely spacious public / entertainment areas with really comfy seating. Rooms pleasant and comfortable. Nice food but not overly generous with portion sizes. Good cabaret entertainment and well stocked bar. All staff very pleasnt.

It looks great since being done up. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They deserve a pay rise. There such an asset to the glenburn. I have worked and managed hospitality before and the staff have a very high working standard.

We booked independently at this Shearings hotel. Room refurbished, nicely done. Food was fine and not expensive. Staff friendly and good views. Mount Stuart House just up the road.

Excellent weekend location a stone's throw from ferry. Rooms, food and staff were excellent. Entertainment in ballroom at weekend. The management are trying hard to make this majestic building a great place to come too. Only problems were poor water supply and early shutting of bar 9.45 in main lounge and 11.40 in the ballroom where entertainment was on. I think they should be more up to date with the modern world

Nice place for hanging out with friends. The atmosphere is nice and 50s style. However the hot drink menu has no variety and the drinks are average.

This hotel has such a great view from its vantage point location near to the city centre. The ballroom was destroyed a number of years ago, which was a great shame. Needs a fair amount of investment in a refit to modernise accordingly.
