About The Goldberry - Bar & Kitchen
Established as a Pub in the late 1800's, The Goldberry has been owned by the same Family since 1958.
Joe and Betty Cairns purchased the Goldberry in 1958, it was so they could settle back in Kilmarnock, after Joe's career as a Chief Flight Engineer in the Airline Industry. A career that took them all over the World.
Joe and Betty's daughter, also called Betty, has worked in the Goldberry since being a teenager. Betty took control of The Goldberry, along with her husband Eric Brown in the late 1980's after both Joe and Betty Cairns had passed away.
The Goldberry has seen many changes, spanning decades, now being run by Betty Brown and her Family.
We aim to publish some great photos on here, archiving all the years that the Family have owned The Goldberry Arms.
