Good prices, good service and good food

Some fake reviews, food is greasy and some inedible. The chicken has fat on it and drowned in sauce.

Read the reviews n thought good choice for a Chinese after driving down from portree.....disappointed!

Although it was fresh and hot.....totally lacked any flavour (special curry) And watery curry no property consistency to it.

Think I'll try over the road from it next time see if it's any better.

Duck in barbeque sauce is the best

Chicken egg foo yung, good food say no more. If you are on a boat on the Caledonian Canal its worth not cooking and getting a takeaway from here as a treat.

Great place! Was visiting from Seattle for a road trip and my travel buddy got sick so I was on the hunt for takeout and soup of some sort.

I first went to Deli Barqen Chinese takeaway but the wait was so long, but not being a local I didn't know that I should have called in for an order.

So I walked across to Golden River and ordered soup (for my friend) Chicken Fried Rice - the rice was amazing - and Spring Rolls ( or Fried Egg Rolls to Americans) everything was sooooo good! And Especially coming from Seattle where Asian food is well known for. And the wait for a Saturday night was not long. Highly recommend! Especially for visitors looking for inexpensive good food!

Love the food, salt and pepper chicken is delicious.

Very quick service and a lovely meal..We are only visiting the area but we will be ordering again before we leave
