Really disappointed. We called into this pub on our way home from the caravan. We read the reviews and they are all great. We picked up a high chair for our baby but there was mould down the side where it hadn't been cleaned properly. The next high chair's tray didn't fit because the clips had broken. Myself and my daughter ordered a beer dinner and my husband and son a pork dinner. If you get the pork then you don't get a Yorkshire pudding because you get apple sauce instead? We were told a child's meal came with a dessert but this wasn't offered to us and the portion sizes were terrible. The adults paid almost £7 a meal and we are on our way hungry. 😔 The lady who served us was very friendly and the food was tasty (the small amount you were given), but I'm disappointed that I've just parted with £30 and we will be calling into a shop for more food to keep us going on our drive home. I don't know if this is normal in Scotland but give me a Sunday dinner in the north east any day.

Great food. Great atmosphere. David always friendly and welcoming, and the dogs are allowed in the bar.
