hey ,i posted a review on trip advisor but il write again.Spent a lovely couple of hours with hubby at the GREY GULL.Excellent service and the food was lovely.I had the pan fried chicken and he had the smoked haddock.We topped it off with a peanut butter cheesecake,homemade.At last finally somewhere to eat out locally..Only bug bear and its the bane of my life,the waitress cleaned the table next to us with spray which i could smell when my mouth was still tasting the food.Excellent overall...we will definitely be back.
everyone was great my all day breakfast was very filling perfect for a hungry man

This place is a gem nice and clean rooms warm welcome home cooked food what more could you want we will be back again next year
The new refurb looks fab. Also sky sports being added Iโm told with a full cocktail list and live singers every weekend. Definetly the place to go!
Nice clean establishment with cheery service. Food was very tasty, big helpings and served in good time. Prices were very reasonable too. Nice views of Loch Fine from the restaurant. Have driven past this hotel every week for the past 25 years and never gave it a second glance. It is now my go to place for lunch when driving to Glasgow from Campbeltown. Well worth a visit.
Me James and my son Thomas were here for dinner, the food was absolutely amazing! Quick service the staff were all absolutely lovely :) had a great night would definitely recommend :)

Had a fantastic night here on Saturday night with our family and friends .The management and staff were exceptional , friendly and could not do enough for us all .Nicholas Mcdonald was performing and the locals were so lovely and made us all

A party of around twenty of us stayed here August 2002. My hubby and I got married in the local registry office and stayed here for a few days with family and friends. Beautiful vistas, excellent rooms, food, staff and hospitality.
We were upgraded free of charge to honeymoon suite by the hotel on night of our wedding as a wonderful surprise. Lovely, lovely memories.
Warm friendly atmosphere,stave ray pleasant &helpful, good food, breakfast alone keep you going most of day. Lovely view across loch whilst eating your meal, 5 minute walk up to Crinan canal. Reasonable room rates,in all very pleasant stay.
The food was lovely - local produce, as you'd expect, cooked and presented beautifully. S great range of local, national and international beers to choose from. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drink.
A lovely night, all in all.
Really enjoyed our stay, staff are so friendly, food was delicious and a great range of beers, and all very reasonably priced .. we were lucky enough to get a Loch view room into the bargain ๐๐
Just returned from a 2 night visit and would thoroughly recommend... Spectacular views,friendly staff,owners who seemed to genuinely care about your stay,clean well equipped rooms and a fantastic resturaunt with a varied menu for all ages and tastes and a blackboard full of daily specials ( I had the wild boar and apple burger and loved it).
There's no doubt we will be back ๏ฟฝ
