my boyfriend and I came in for dinner and drinks and had a great time. our waitress for the night was donna who was very attentive and really lovely! the food was delicious and the whole experience was five stars. can't wait to come back again!

We went on a gifted itison voucher and although I was slightly unlucky with my steak choice (sirloin but probably not a good cut) my husband's rib eye was perfect and they gave us free desserts to compensate. Chocolate pots with salted caramel, which was to die for. The Manager spoke to us personally which more than made up for the slight disappointment on main and for that alone, we would return. Also no charge on side cauliflower. Staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Visiting first time Glasgow for weekend and this place for Sunday dinner. Have to say food was faultless and beef cooked to perfection. Pudding was lush too. Can’t fault Jack either, ensured everything was spot on throughout and got more gravy when asked. ��

Service was absolutely faultless staff couldn’t of been more helpful or attentive! One main meal came out cold and they couldn’t do enough for us and had taken it off the bill for us! Thank you very much for a lovely meal highly recommend!

Popped in yesterday (saturday) around 2 ish with no booking, staff were as welcoming as always, seating us straight away. Fishcake starter with chilli sauce was incredible, could have ate another couple of portions easily, they were that good, wife had the bread as she was saving herself for the steak. My main was the Sirloin, she had the fillet, both dishes were cooked exactly as we had asked. The time between starter and our main was just right, allowing time for the food to settle and a bit of conversation.

The dessert was just as good as the rest of the meal.

Throughout the meal, we were looked after by our waitress which to my shame I sadly did not get the name of.

Over all, a wonderful experience in a wonderful restaurant, if you are in a hurry, go to Wetherspoons, if you are looking for a dining experience, The Grill on the Corner is the place to go.

Me and my wife went with friends who were visiting from England! We had steaks, burgers and fajitas! Food was absolutely brilliant! Couldn’t recommend it enough! Our waitress Claire was spot on with recommendations and went the extra mile. This is the go to restaurant for me and my dad when we go into town for a steak. Last night didn’t disappoint. Will definitely return!

Had a beautiful family birthday dinner today, my shoes snapped and the staff went and got me a pair of shoes, took no money,, ���.. above and beyond customer service.. and I could continue to enjoy beautiful food, and amazing service Thank you, thank you xx ����

Came here for my boyfriends birthday last night and both the service and food were brilliant! We both had a fillet steak, cooked medium rare and it was perfect! we also had the half lobster as a side, and it was the best I have ever tasted!! We were seated right away and our food came very quick considering it was packed right out! our server Kenny couldn’t have been better, such a nice guy! The whole restaurant was lovely, and welcoming and we’ll 100% be back! one of the best steaks we’ve had!

Absolutely first class meal. Service was so good and Clare our waitress was just lovely. Really helpful and great personality. Perfect. Steaks were delicious; chips; mashed potato ; garlic mushrooms. All really tasty. Sticky toffee pudding was ace. Loved the meal and service - will be back.

Was there last night with my son and daughter in law we all had a lovely meal and a great time. Very very expensive for a night out would have been cheaper going away for the weekend, won’t be doing it again in a hurry

Had a lovely meal here with my friend , food and staff were great , only thing i didn't like was we had a drink at the bar and in order to add it to our table , your card taken from you and given back when you get your table, its not good idea.

Service and staff were great. Ordered the blackhouse steak sandwich. Wasn't asked how I liked my steak and wasn't told how it would come. It was more annoying as it was fillet steak.

Also asked for no mushrooms in the sandwich and the waitress wrote this down, only for my sandwich to turn up with mushrooms in.

I have been on a burger craving lately and have tried a few around town. This was the poorest burger I have eaten. I hate that I had to tell the waitress that I really wasn’t enjoying it when she came to ask us about our meal chips were not great either.

With places like Perro Nero and Cau doing great burgers...I was told to come here as a friend remembers it being superb for burgers. I was so disappointed but I will come back and try some other things on the menu.

Went on a Sunday buzzing to get a Sunday roast waited what felt like all day as we had booked for 5 which I thought would be early dinner got there & was told there was none left. Gutted was an understatement has put me off tbh. I think if your restaurant is highly recommend on google for a Sunday roast you need to be able to keep up to the standards.

Took family for supposed steak night on Tuesday 24th April. 2x fillets & 1x sirloin. Was the most chewy steaks ever left mostly fat on plate. Only giving 2 stars due to the sharing platter for starter and sides were nice but would definitely not recommend for steaks.

Really disappointed in the offer that they are promoting everywhere (50%off on Monday) had T&C’s that were not made clear when booking or on their social advertising.



I raised it with the waitress believing it to be an easy thing to correct and wasn’t really listened to. They were too busy trying to get the rest of my party registered for some other offer...



They certainly never forgot to add a £46 service charge...



We booked here due to the offer, we were going to another steak house. I tried to raise it with them on instagram but no one bothered to respond despite a polite reminder.



There are too many good steak houses in Glasgow now to offer poor service levels like this.



It’s the last I will go there on business or socially.

Inconsistent, wouldn't recommend. Been twice now, first time really enjoyed it other than a dried out bun. Second time my husband and I had two oyster plates, a fab chateaubriand and three sides plus chips. However, we brought my mum who got a rump steak that I tried and was clearly off and overcooked. - It was gross. Service was very good and it was removed from the bill but to be served clearly off beef in the first place is terrible when I've since seen other reviews also saying the same. Chips also came luke warm and onion rings doughy which when you're spending upwards of £90 on mains and sides alone really isn't good enough. Some things come out great but overall I won't be going back, as while they were nice and offered to replace the bad stuff, nobody wants to eat a second attempt at a main while everyone else is on dessert...not to mention the hygiene issues with off meat.

This is our second time here as the last time hated it so thought would give it another chance our table was booked for 2.30 for seated and ordered our meal waited over 30 minutes for one starter then got the burger for the main course to be honest can get a better burger and chips from Mac Donald’s chips arrived cold and burger was just rotten . Staff very slow . Wouldn’t recommend

The worst meal I’ve had in a long time, a beautiful piece of monkfish completely over cooked, asked for some more bisque sauce which hadn’t arrived by the time I’d finished my meal. Numerous colleagues ordered steaks with sauces which came during their last mouthfuls after we chased. Appalled at the overall service which was acknowledged with a 50% bill reduction and a round of free drinks. Spend your hard earned elsewhere �
