The Gym Edinburgh Cameron Toll

I myself, also signed up to the new Cameron Toll TheGymGroup gym, off which has left me feeling annoyed and dis-heartened by TheGymGroup as a whole. I also turned up for my first days session, of which I was told at signing would be open, not only to find the gym was closed, but not even clearly half finished.

After numerous attempts to find out the truth to the TheGymGroups miss-selling and customer diss-satisfaction issues, I was told I would also have to sign up at a higher tariff, joining fee, and also miles away from my home, to the The City Centre. I was also told jokingingly to my parking issues question, that, 'you shouldn't be driving it isn't good for your health or the environment'. This was TheGymGroups response, off which this was the TheGymGroups only bargaining chip to keeping me happy as a customer and justifying themselves as a leisures company.

Naturally I declined and demanded a full refund, off which was followed by a relieved telephone slam from the TheGymGroups representitive; may I add of whom didn't have a clue on how to deal with the situation or relay any adequate information to any future opening dates at the gym; wasn't even interested that I was leaving and didn't show any apathy what so ever to me as a new customer, to the unprofessional and inadequate experience I was being put through by The Gym Group.

What an unfortunate company! I would be so embarrassed and ashamed, even bemused!, if I was CEO!
God knows how they treat their members within the gym!

Stay away folks they are rubbish!

It's not open yet! Someone should take down the opening times it's misleading!

Got membership as advertising as open online, go down for a session still building.... one week later in cameron toll and building has stopped. They made sure I got charged today though for something thats been false advertised, i've been ill informed...infact not informed at all. The worst service i've ever experienced, i'll be cancelling asap, claiming my money back, never stepping foot in"the gym" again. I'll be advising anyone I know not to sign up to this diabolical firm and advise anyone reading this to stay well clear!!!
