Well it's the end of an era folks...we are packing boxes like mad fools and will leave The Hawthorns on Friday. From now on guests will be welcomed and looked after by Greame and Eilein Connelly and we'd like to wish them all good things for the future x

After 9 happy years, welcoming amazing guests from every walk of life and from every corner of the globe, we are saying "Goodbye" to The Hawthorns. The memories and friends we've made will stay with us forever (but thankfully not the laundry pile!) I'd like to welcome the new Owners, Graeme and Eilein Connelly,who will take over in May (appropriately!) and continue to trade as a B & B. We really hope they enjoy the life as much as well have. Our new venture, along at John o'Groats, should be open in July and we hope to see all our old friends, and many new ones, at Stacks Bistro and Coffee House. Everyone welcome 10am-10pm!
