The High School of Glasgow is an independent, co-educational day school of just over 1, 000 pupils between the ages of 3 and 18. Our primary aim is to create a happy, caring and ordered community in which each individual can achieve his or her full potential both academically and socially. Pupils are encouraged to develop a sense of responsibility and to pursue excellence in all their activities. The School has a Christian background and seeks to foster traditional standards and values, and a concern for others. Over the years we have developed an ethos in which pupils of any religious persuasion benefit from the atmosphere of mutual tolerance and respect.
