We loved our stay at The Highland Bothies. They had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The setting had beautiful views over Ullapool, the local lochs and hills. The owners were very friendly and had great recommendations. They did everything they could to make us feel so welcome.
We loved everything about the Bothy. The location is stunning and very peaceful yet so close to pretty shops, restaurants and fabulous walks. The Bothy was so clean, very comfy and well equipped with lots of thoughtful extras and the decking with seating is such a fantastic bonus. We loved relaxing watching the boats. Thanks also for all the really useful information and friendly chat from Iain and Ruby too of course.

We had a great stay at the Bothies! Views are fantastic. Bothy was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids enjoyed out neighbours, Casper the Pony, Rosie the lamb and the wild deer on the hill. Great location for exploring the surrounding area.

I can’t recommend these Bothies enough, they are spotless, comfortable and finished to the highest standard in the most idyllic, stunning settings. So much to do and visit nearby. Beautiful restaurants serving fresh local seafood. Shops filled with handmade Scottish art pieces I especially recommend Artworks. Where I picked up quite a few gifts and souvenirs. Can’t thank Iain and Ruth enough for looking after us and how attentive they were. We will be back. Kids had the best holiday EVER. Thank you.
I cant recommend this bothy enough. It is in a perfect location for exploring the area and the views are breathtaking. The bothy is very cosy and comfortable and finished to a very high standard. Ruth and Ian were very lovely hosts and we hope to return soon. Thank you!
