Lovely place to shop. Food hall has a great selection to choose from. Staff always very helpful and restaurant also has a good variety of meals, home made soup is delicious. Clothing area is superb.

Fabulous shopping. Not your ordinary cheap tourist trinkets. High quality and not cheap but well worth it. If you are like me and want items hand crafted in the UK, check your tags, lots of items made in China etc. Bought a strand of roasted garlic for a friend in the U.S. We thought of him every time we got into the car as the garlic permeated the entire space. Lovely woolens, tweeds, and Scottish eats.

This place is incredibly crowded but has rightfully earned its nickname of the Harrod's of the North. Like it's namesake it is pricey but sells an amazing range of good quality produce. Love the cheese counter. Clothing is incredibly expensive. A brilliant place for a quick loo stop when travelling along the A9!

I have been shopping here for many years, making a 140 mile round trip, unfortunately there has been a steady decline in customer service and the quality of their products. Staff are unpleasantly rude, although I am not a snob, they seem to forget that they are shop assistants.
I would suggest a well known country wear shop in Fife which has far better clothing and shoes, oh, and the staff are polite.
Whilst waiting to pay for our food in the cafeteria (not a restaurant I hasten to add), a manager, I take it, spoke to a girl working at the food counter and asked if she had cleaned the toilets yet. A number of people in the queue thought the same as I did, there is a time and a place, and this was not it. (Given the state of the toilets and the smell, clearly she had not). A stop on the A9 for the non-discerning tourist I'm afraid, nothing more.

A brilliant place to stop for families (& anyone really). Lots of food choices from a deli, butcher, high end gourmet foods, to haddock or a pie & chips. In the courtyard they sell beautiful fresh produce including Scottish berries, apples & garlic. Plus you can shop for beautiful clothes & gifts. I highly recommend taking a stop here on any road trip

This is a massive shopping center which offers mainly clothes, but also food, art, etc.
The buildings are handsome and comfortable in a homely way, even though it's fairly new. Visitors can walk along the many rooms to look at high-quality garments, typical British brands, luxurious handbags, and all the rest of it, and then move on to the food shop which offers a variety of meats, smoked salmon, biscuits, sweets and a lot more. The restaurant offers a good selection of dishes or simple sandwiches and tea biscuits or cakes and the covered terrace is very comfortable thanks to the massive heater lamps around it.
There's also a factory shop in the back for good bargains.
I would say that one can have a good deal of fun just walking about and looking at things (or sitting in a big armchair with a newspaper in front of the fire as their wife walks about and looks at things). It's well worth the stop.

A lovely place for a bathroom break if you're on a long drive. Lots of high quality local produce and items to browse and stretch your legs. Plenty of free parking too!

Quality high end outdoor clothing and accessories. Lots of land rovers and rich Americans, well worth a visit even if you do not fall into this bracket.

Great place to stop off on the way up or down the A9! Food isn't cheap but superb and the food hall is great for Scottish produce to take home with you! There's plenty parking and space for dogs too. Great for country clothing, cashmere and tweeds
