Ignore the hype and the YouTube video, communal area just has a telly and a few chairs and no-one used it and you no longer get a phone in your room.
Laundry is pricy (£4.10 for a standard wash and dry 2016-17), and the machines were rarely all working (also, beware that people will forget about their laundry, taking up machines)

The flats are OK, bedrooms fairly spacious, but a mattress topper made the bed comfier.
Hobs are cheap electric, but you get a fan oven.
They send professional cleaners round when you move out, so new tenants should he coming into a clean flat.
General advice to take photos etc. , but I got my deposit back no bother.

The staff are inconsistent in mood (can be snarky on a bad day, reasonably friendly on a good day) but pretty good at dealing with the emailed issues I had (but I've heard of things taking a while to get fixed, so you may need to chase them).

Fire alarms and drunken loudness are common, but it is student halls and it is often too hot to close windows.

I met a really good group of mates here, and I'd say it was worth it for the first year. It is cheaper than uni halls, but pricier than a private let. Price also covers all bills.

Lovely accomodation with good bathroom. There are dishwasher and TV but the fridges are little for 5 people. The launderette service is horrible, don't use it.

Lived at The Hub for two years. Reasonably priced, cheaper than uni halls and closer to campus than some of them.

Rooms are a good size, private bathroom very much appreciated. Staff is friendly and deals with complaints quickly and efficiently. Rent includes everything, so no surprise costs! 24/7 help available, which is comforting.

Cannot stress enough the convenience of the location. Close to town, shops and uni. All within walking distance. Easy access to public transportation, too.

Would definitely recommend.

Avoid living here.
Bad from start to finish. Flat very dirty when moved in/horrible smell in kitchen. So bad that could not cook in the kitchen.
Told that would be put with like minded students- i am fourth year and was put with first years.
Extremely over priced, can get so much better in Dundee. cannot wait to move out.
