An opportunity has just arisen for a hard-working and motivated individual to join one of the busiest teams in events, hospitality and live music.
The job will involve dealing with day-to-day operations in a busy bar/eatery/circuit music venue in Glasgow's west end.
The successful applicant will possess a proven track record in assisting with general hospitality operations - staff relations & rota management, stock control and pricing, marketing and PR, food service and cust...omer relations. Skill in maths, computing and English are key.
Experience in the music industry is preferable, but not absolutely necessary assuming you have an interest in this side of things, are keen to work in this industry and are a quick learner.
An exceptional person will be likely to be offered further opportunities within our fast-growing team.
We prefer you send a CV and cover letter to Colin Campbell at colin@432presents.com if you'd like to be considered for this fantastic role.

great wee venue, lots of touring and local bands, food is great too !

User

Welcoming staff. The band was awesome. My only thing was I didn't realise it was a vegan restaurant (I'm a definite meat eater), ate the food and it was ok. Not a convert. My cohorts loved the food so ignore my food comments. Fun fun place with great staff but no meat!

User

There on Tuesday evening and had the best evening. Meal was fantastic; gorgeous selection of tasty vegan tapas dishes. Staff were attentive and friendly. McGarry’s karaoke was so much fun; great atmosphere hosted by the lovely Chris. Recommend everything about the Hug and Pint!

User

The food is just amazing! One of the group I was with even said it's worth coming back to Glasgow just to eat at the Hug and Pint!

User

My new favourite place to go in Glasgow. Absolutely amazing food, and great service, we went 2 out of the 3 days we were visiting.

User

Just had a wonderful night in The Hug and Pint. Delighted with the excellent service, delicious Vegan menu, and vibrant energy about the place. We had a great evening. Thank you!

User

Incredible food, incredible staff, incredible venue, incredible beer

When you fall I will catch you ...

I WILL BE WAITINGGGGGGGGG

User

I am not vegan or vegetarian but was amazed, the food looks great, tastes even better and I will be back to sample the "try everything" option.

Friendly staff, great place and live music in the basement...what more could you want?

User

Great place. My wife is vegan but the rest of us are not. We come for lunch about once a week. Love the place. My fave is the szechuan tofu. Good beers too.

User

Fab vegan food, staff are good fun, great music downstairs. Special place this one, keep it up guys.

User

Brilliant, friendly staff, great choice of beers and some of the best gigs in Glasgow - a true West End institution.

User

Best vegan food I've eaten in ages, and I loved that the place is filled with people of all ages and backgrounds and interests. Really friendly staff and exceptional eating. Thank you, and please get a recipe book out soon! <3 We'll be back!

User

As a vegan visiting Glasgow last weekend I was delighted to be taken to Hug & Pint. Our party of four chose one each of the dishes on offer - all great but I especially loved the miso-noodle-mushroom bowl. And to have a bottle of Birds & Bees on the side... perfect! Great service too. 10/10

User

Absolutely amazing. 46 years of omnivorousness and giving it up has led to finding amazing places like this.

User

Small daily vegan menu but tasty options especially if you like Asian style food. We had spicy aubergine over rice with pickled cucumber, Szechuan tofu on rice and miso soup on the side. All tasty and quite spicy. Drinks were served nicely. I'd go again.

User

I have been to Hug and Pint in November 2015 when I was on a holiday with a friend to Glasgow for a concert of U2. It was a lot of fun to see a concert of Rats on Rafts from The Netherlands. I also come from The Netherlands and I had see them a couple of times in my hometown. I felt very special during the concert and it really resonated with me! We had also very nice conversations with the staff of Hug and Pint and had a great time!

User

Dropped by on Friday night to see The Standard Lamps playing. Ended up eating here, which honestly would have been far from my first choice. However, I really enjoyed the food, especially the Jackfruit Curry. Will certainly visit again in the future

User

Great place for a gig, great sound though not sure about the toilets I take it they are meant to be unisex but on the door of one it says there are urinals so that should be the gents but when I went tinto the other there were guys in so I was a bit confused.

User

Organised a subcrawl and wanted to go here, I made sure to phone them a couple of weeks in advance and they said that it was no problem. When we get there, we are turned away with the excuse that their policy has suddenly changed and we weren't allowed in. After talking to them and listening to even more excuses, they finally budged, but we were treated very poorly by the bar staff while we were there. It's a shame because this was a place I really wanted to try for a date night as I heard their food was really good, but this night really ruined it for me. Hopefully they'll treat their future patrons with more respect than they showed us.
