WONDERFUL response and full house to celebrate Our Lady of Lourdes. Oil. Healing. Story. Candlelight. A celebration of belonging through our baptism. HUGE shout out to the st Margaret of Scotland youth group, Michael, KP and people from all over who came to share - here’s a taster!

Today in 1858 began a series of encounters between Bernadette Soubirous, a poor semi-literate French peasant girl and a 'beautiful lady'. The story has touched millions of lives ever since and it culminated in the moment when the lady said "I am the Immaculate Conception" In this parish we are marking this today with a special service of thanksgiving worship and praise, assisted by the St Margaret of Scotland Youth group. 7pm TONIGHT followed by food and rink in the hall. All welcome. If Lourdes is part of your memory and your journey, please share, spread the word and come and join us

If you’ve not heard yet two of our young parishioners - Maurizio and Ester have opened a great new restaurant at 39 Hyndland St. Rossini’s has already had great reviews in the Scottish press as part of a “renaissance” in Italian food in Glasgow! Give it a try and support the new place! (info@rosssiniwestend.com or 337 3135)

Big thanks to Isobel and Julie who went to represent us and find out what’s happening at the Divine Renovation conference In Birmingham. Here are some images to look at - good to see few dozen Scots there from all over. We’ll hear soon what we might do next to place our whole parish at Gods service.
