Been here a few time for dinner. Meals are above average and reasonable priced.

Tables are sticky and always seem unclean. They say it’s the varnish, I say get new tables.

Table service can also be slow to get your drinks and staff although friendly do not have any finesse.

Checked in at the Inn and was allocated a dissabled room. We didn't asked for a dissabled room when booking. The room that was allocated to us was outside of the Inn, so we had to walk out in the damp and rain for our meals.
At breakfast we waited to be seated, but no waitress appeared. A waitress did come out after a while, looked at us both then walked back into the breakfast room. We decided to go in for breakfast and find a table ourselves. The table was not laid up, so my husband asked the waitress for some cutlery. I went to get a bowl of fruit, there where two small pieces of watermelon on a plate. My husband asked the waitress to fetch some more watermelon. The waitress disappeared and came back ten minutes later. I then decided to have some scrambled egg, but there was none in the tray. Myself and other customers waited at least twenty minutes for the scrambled egg to come out. I didnt have any in the end. In the meantime, I went to get a slice of toast. A young girl was already waiting for the fresh bread to come out. While we were waiting, other people were lining up to. My husband went in to give our room key to the reception. There was nobody there, and other people were waiting to do the same thing. My husband went into the bar area, and asked a hotel girl if she would take the key from him. The girl asked if he had paid, he informed her he had. The Inn was not cheap, we only stayed for one night and that was enough for me.

On our October Break at Inverbeg Holiday Park. Took the kids across for a meal. Was quiet, however attentive service. Food arrived quickly. Children's menu was inexpensive and decent sized portions. Pleasing given we had 4x. Hayley had macaroni and was very pleased with that.I had the large haddock which must have been the largest landed that day. Delicious. Nice house wine at £17 or so. Nice Czech beer on tap. Was circa £70 including wine and two beers, which is pretty excellent value.

Great stay right on the edge of the loch. We arrived late so weren't able to enjoy fully the surroundings! Great breakfast and evening meal. Friendly staff and great location.

Lovely hotel. Nice location. Pretty average self service breakfast . Would definitely stay again. They really need to figure out why only 4 channels on the TV it's like I was back in the 90s

Really good hotel with the best rooms on the top floor or in the boat house. Stunning views from the loch side. Great place for dinner too

Nice hotel in a nice location but a bit worn. The bar area is good but the air conditioning in the lounge obviously didn't work and it was far too hot to sit in. The evening meal was beautiful and staff were friendly, hence the 2 stars. If judging by room only or would have been one! Our "executive" room had no hot water to wash hands or shower after a day out, on day of arrival, at 630pm AND again next morning at 8am, even though maintenance had been called the night before. We did get £20 of drinks off our bill but that's hardly enough to make us go back for cold showers, £134 dinner b&b rather than £154, I'll find somewhere else next time. Ironically the water was so hot at 3am i couldn't get the tap to go cold enough to get a drink of water lol. The room looked on the surface clean but on closer inspection the carpet was stained in many places which looked like they could have been cleaned easily, obviously only ever vacuumed, never actually cleaned. Curtains were also stained and bathroom worn with grout cracked and missing. Toilet roll holder had been broken off the wall sometime previously and never replaced.

We had a Groupon deal for an overnight stay with breakfast. We upgraded the room to a beach house room. Great views, lovely 4 poster bed, amazing bath and very quiet. Had the full sky package so we could snuggle up and watch a movie later too. Breakfast was very nice and we also got dinner which was great too. Only 1 real complaint was that the bed was not comfortable at all. Would go back again, loved it.

Lovely atmosphere. Great location. Great staff. The food unfortunately is not the same high standard. Not saying it's bad. But could be better. Then it's a 5 star experience.
