Here at The Junket we do cupcake making birthday parties. The kids come and make, bake and ice 4 cupcakes each. We provide them with aprons and all ingredients they need to make their cakes in bowls with wooden spoon's no mixers. Once the cupcakes are in the oven the kids get a buffet tea of sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps, popcorn and a small sweetie buffet with juice. Once the cakes are ready we ice 2 together and then they get to ice the other 2 on their own and we box them so they can take them home. Cost is £13.95 per child. Age 5+ min 8 max 12. We are doing a package for 10 kids, balloons,banners, invites & an 8" birthday cake for £145 x

What an amazing day we had thanks to The Junket Tea Room who supplies afternoon tea for my mums 90th Birthday Party ,All cakes sandwiches etc were brilliant, service 1st Class service in every way would highly recommend , thank you once again xxxx

Wee visit today with my Mum and we were not disappointed � Poached eggs on toast was lovely and the fruit scones were to die for, best yet. Great prices and loved the decor especially the cups and saucers �� cannot wait to go back �

We love our visits to the tea room. Yvonne’s home baking is worth the trip. We are always made to feel welcome and enjoy the relaxing friendly environment. It also helps that the food and cakes good too �. Would highly recommend xx

Simply the best afternoon tea ever even better being delivered straight to my door on a miserable day. Very reasonably priced for such an amazing amount of sandwiches Crisps and lovely homebaked scones cakes traybakes and tablet not to forget butter teabags and the loveliest home made jam. Thank you so much junket tea room my mum dad my girls and obviously myself thoroughly enjoyed it and will be ordering again very soon .cannot recommend you highly enough ��

Myself and another 4 colleagues ordered High Tea boxes to celebrate the royal wedding and we were so impressed, the selection was great and the lovely touches e.g. teabags in a little bag, bit size tablet and the price was so reasonable, I will definitely be using The Junket Tearoom again.

My son went to his 1st ‘Make and bake club’ this morning, what a lovely experience, he had a great time. Amazing value for money, we will be back! So pleased with my wee scarf and candle bargain too�

Me n my neice were in earlier the day fir afternoon tea,it was lovely, well stuffed our faces,even got the cakes in a box to bring home, very friendly, n welcoming,will be back,recommended to everyone to go,great price too x

Just had my daughter's 9th birthday party here with 7 of her friends, Yvonne kept all the girls on track and their cakes all looked fantastic, buffet was great too. Will definitely be back for some lunch and cake �

Just been to the new tea room and wow. It's the same quality home made produce but in a totally different setting. The tea room is nice, bright and welcoming with separate toilets for boys and girls. The whole place has been recently renovated to a very high standard.



It's in the middle of Townhill across from the Community Centre with lots of off street parking.



Only giving it 5 stars because I can't give it anymore.

Just back from the junket tea room townhill it was lovely great food and home cooked scones .the ladies we're lovely and they also had some lovely stuff you could buy.willd def go be back soon .wee home from home.just brillent

Had my daughter's birthday party here on Saturday and she had a great time.Lots of guidance and help with the cake making and a lovely wee buffet too.The girls all loved it and said their cakes tasted great.Would recommend for something a bit different.Lovely birthday cake as well,thank you

Great place. Occasionally pop in for a quick lunch which is always great, good food and friendly staff (plus yummy cakes) but today had my sons birthday party and it was perfect. All the kids loved making their own cupcakes and my son had a great time. Great to see them all being independent and creative. Such a great party idea.

First time of visiting and I really enjoyed my mother’s day high tea.

Great atmosphere and food and cakes are so delicious.
