Really loved the secret barrister book, laughed and signed almost in equal measure. Major issues needn't urgent attention.

Just returned from a fabulous workshop with intermediary Paula Backen in Birmingham. All about working with defendants from suspect stage through to end of trial. Interesting issues explored including the whole 'evidence only' debate and great new ideas on how we can help defendants to participate effectively in their experiences at court. As a registered intermediary I've been involved in many cases around this legislation.

Assisting both defence and prosecution with evidence giving for a young lady with chronic substance issues and learning disabilities. A challenge but she managed it amazingly well.

Am contacting to raise awareness of intermediaries both registered and independent.
