Went for afternoon tea. Food Was lovely. Staff where friendly and welcoming. Loved the prosecco and glitter�! Definitely recommend �!
Was here today for afternoon tea today with my 8 year old daughter. Highly recommend. Food was fab. Staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks for the teapot of water. Made my wee girls day!

I previously posted a negative review after a miscommunication in December.i was offered a complimentary meal after this, which I had tonight and I have to say it was fantastic. Service was great and food was amazing. Sometimes in life things don’t go to plan but good customer service is the way in which a problem is rectified, and in this case the Kirk inn have gone above and beyond. First class. We will be back. Many thanks �

For the first time we decided to eat out at Christmas. Although the service was slightly slower than we would have liked, the meal was good and excellent value.
Absolutely amazing atmosphere and the staff could not help enough
The decor is crisp and fresh and I really enjoyed my time here

Very poor!! Attended a friends 30th birthday party here a few weekends back.
The organisation and running of the evening was extremely disappointing given that they are a new business in the area and trying to establish themselves.
Two people serving at the bar (sometimes one) for a function of around 60-70 people. This resulted in queuing for 20-30mins and missing out on the party next door.
Nobody seemed to be in charge and overseeing the running of the place which didn’t seem right.
The bar staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing, forgetting drink orders and having massive pricing disparities.
Half way through the evening the bar ran out of basic mixers for spirits such as tonic! Shortly after this all draft beer had ran out! This was a major disappointment. You would think for a large function they would ensure the bar is well stocked beforehand.
The function room was freezing due to the heating not working. Many guests had their coats on for 1-2 hours into the night.
The DJ that was hired by the venue and included in the package played a good mixture of tunes, however, he was intoxicated early into the night and was asking guests to buy him drinks - not at all professional given the good money that was paid by my friend for this service.
I ended up having a good night due to a great group of friends who are good at making the most out of a bad situation. I wouldn’t however recommend this place at all to anyone.

An absolute shambles. Terrible organisers, ruined my friends 30th birthday. Our friends have tried to go through the legitimate channels to resolve the issues brought up, but no compensation has been offered. We will all now try to do what we can to warn others from booking the venue.
